But just in case, you have already covered yourself. Also Backup all your settings for eve. Sometimes pathes in the past reset your settings/overview lists, so keep that in mind. If you are playing eve on some mission critical computer, such as a server or whatever, please wait 1-2 hours after everyone else patches to make sure all is well. I dont really know why people would play any game on a mission critical computer, but hey, its your job on the line! Finally, Check out Test Server if you want to speculate. Every patch that brings changes makes billions for those who speculate in advance baised on test server info. Nothing is guarenteed, but its a good "tip sheet" for making serious short term isk.

I'm usually at work when it comes back up and its always fun seeing on the forums how the first few thousand people who log in get toasted because the cluster is overloaded by the herd stampeding back on. The sort of people who haven't already thought about setting a long skill wont be reading the forums in the first place (they will only log on to the forums after the patch to complain about lost time) How empty must peoples lives be to even consider some lost time in a computer game important anyway? Do they immediately return home from a night out when they remember there is no skill training? I used to think the whine threads after a patch were a bit of sarcastic humor by people bored at work, "damn you CCP! i've lost over 2 HOURS TRAINING TIME!!". Then i realize they are being serious
