Edited by: Rialtor on 11/03/2008 15:00:10 I'm going to go with the Curse. It was the perfect ship to field against most setups:
- Tracking Disruptors, since most of the field was turrent based
- Big Drone Bays for both Attack, ECM Drones, and Logistic Drones
- Cap Warfare, Since it has cap warfare, unlike most drone boats it has an innate counter to the drone counter (Smartbombs)

Yeh ill second that,
Curse was the reason in the end that Evoke won , even if the megathron had any cap he wudnt have been able to hit anything anyway cause of the tracking disruption lol.
Curse is my Favorite ship, i pilot it alot, it deservers a ship of the tournement award lol.

Most useful ships in the tourney from my perspective: 1. Curse 2. guardian 3. griffin (mainly because we got raped by them)

It is also the fact it is very cap effective on its neuts, has t2 resists and high base lock range and sensor strenght. You can match the sheer ammount of neuting with domis, a swarm of small neuts on cruisers or an ashimmu but then its a big issue to keep feeding it enough cap + tank it properly + give it reasonable eccm strenght.

1. Curse (for obvious reasons) 2. Phantasm (for sheer style) 3. Basilisk/Guardian (the cap bonus is the broken one, not the dual logistics. Transferring cap is ok, but inventing it is not)
Shoutout to Shamis: i might have only flown with you guys for 3 weeks, but i learned a lot back then. A pity the time zones didn't match up.

The Curse sure was the deciding factor in a lot of the fights, so an obvious choice.
Logistics would be my second contender, with Guardian on top.

Obviously the guardian, mostly for the cap-generation.
Curse is a good second, very much empowered by guardian/basilisk ability to feed it with cap and repair it from distance.

100% this imo.
Although it could also be
1.Curse 2.Curse 3.Curse 4.Guardian 5.Griffin
Because the Curse was so f'ing dominant.

curse
it's got a rediculous bonus to neutralizers (ever wished for +200% damage on your weapon systems...? along with a drone bonus?) but it's the only certain way to (easily) break those two cap-logistics. tracking disruptors are a bonus, but yeah... let's buff those, too -.- - Please visit your user settings to re-enable images. putting the gist back into logistics |

A sneak peek into some forthcoming ship statistics....
The Curse was a very popular ship, 44 pilots choosing to fly it. Of those that flew into battle 26 brave pilots returned.
This gives the Curse a survivabilty factor of 59.09% which is not great when compared to other ships but is very good for a ship of this size and class.
