Aerilis	Posted - 2008.03.12 02:00:00 - [1] The Dominix. Yes we know it looks like a giant turd, but it IS a good, reliable, (cheap), ship. So let's share our setups, PVE or PVP (although I pvp in a rifter for tackling, but that's a story for another time.) This is my afk mission setup, ie. I warp in, turn on reppers, launch drones, and go make a sandwich. My tank has never been broken on soloing lvl 4s. [HIGH] 3x 350mm Rails (aggro, maybe a little pewpew~. not really for damage] 2x Med Nos (useful at times) 1x Drone Link Augmentor [MEDS] 1x 100mn AB 4x T2 Cap Rechargers [LOWS] 1x T2 DCU 2x T2 Large Armor Reppers 4x Mission Specific Hardeners, or maybe even a EANM Drones: 7x Ogre II's 5x Other Heavies 5x Damage specific meds 5x Damage specific lights (I hate sentries.) My drones put out ~400 dps, which I think is pretty good. Although I don't have guns, so my drones kinda have to be good. Feel free to rip this apart

From memory, my carebearing Dominix has: 2x LAR II 4x Hards 1 DC II 5x Cap Recharger II (you need cap not speed) 1x Heavy Nos 2x Med Nos II 3x Mega Electrons 2x Aux Nanos 1x CCC Works great, solid setup. Lots of drones, depending on rat type.

Ogre t2's does 467 dps with my skills. Resists are 82.4 / 71.3 / 71.3 / 80 I dont really care to fly the dominix these days, but if we're, this is probably how i would fit it. <3

(all T2 ofc except mwd) Low: Lar2, exp,kin,therm hardners, eanm 2x 1600 RT plates. 3x Pg rigs 7x ogre II's 5x Berserker II's 5x Hammerhead II's 5x Warrior II's and a low-grade slave set + some hardwirings Edit: Syntax
Ritzenhoff	Posted - 2008.03.13 11:58:00 - [10] Domi is so great for missions. Highs: whatever. Doesn't matter. Need at least one gun for aggro. You could even fill the rest with tractors/salvagers. Mids: 1x afterburner (so I don't get bored flying to the next gate. I just fit tech I) 1x omni tracking link - I experimented and found this really makes a good difference to the heavies. Heavies take out cruisers a bit faster, and become very effective against frigates. I've not really experimented with sentries. This is basically the only damage mod in the game for drones (except sentries which have the rig) so if you use heavies, I think you should at least experiment with it. 3x cap recharger II Lows: 1x LAR II (never met a mission I couldn't tank with just one, but I have high skills) 3x hardeners II (depending on mission) 2x EANM II 1x 1600 plate II (although this seems like almost a waste of a low slot) Rigs: 1x aux nano pump (this is easily the most effective rig for tanking) Still got 2 empty slots... I found I don't need a CCC rig, I never run out of cap unless I have big guns/afterburner on while tanking, which usually I don't. Maybe if you go with 2x LAR you need it, which really would let you do missions afk. If you fit it with just tech II rather than named, if you lose it and have insurance, the insurance will pretty much cover all of your loss. Although I haven't lost one in months and that was just because I made a silly mistake in a mission, spawning a load of rats at once by accident.
