To view character alliances, corporations and signatures please go into your ôSettingsö on the left side of the screen in the navigation tool bar. Select the settings ôShow Corporationö, ôShow Allianceö and ôDefault Characterö. If you wish to not view signatures please select ôDonÆt show Signaturesö. Except for these problems: 1.It doesn't work. (IE7) I've tried with and without font size. Toggling the checkbox. Nothing gets rid of the stupid pictures. 2.People that don't want to or can't log in are now forced to wade past the stupid images. Please. Change it back the way it was. Wu Jiun	Posted - 2008.03.13 08:23:00 - [3] Doesn't work for me either. It ignores my selection for the default character, it still shows signatures. Don't know about images though. I have a fontsize selected and thats the only thing that is working. Not loading all those images/stupid sigs was the best thing in years for me. Firefox version: 2.0.0.12

Right now it seems I can disable images only in posts and/or completly disable signatures. I liked it how it worked before with disabled images - I could see text part of sigs, but no images.

I use corp/alliance membership as a mental filter for reading posts, but now I can't reliably use that because I can only see it when I'm logged in. Not only is that a pain since I have to manually log in every time I visit the forums but we all know how the EVE forums can behave, and I'll often have to log in several times over a browsing session. But it seems to be random, becouse it wasn't displaying alliances to me earlier (even though enabled) and now it is without me changing anything. Mayby try to login/logout? I did that few times.

Yeah. Mine is now hiding signature images as long as I have don't show signatures set. It's still annoying that the setting is tied to your character though. Plus, I'd love for EVE-Search to be able to track the corporation/alliance without having to recode it to log in before every visit. Keep up the good work! Also what was the rational behind hiding corporation/alliance based on your own character choices? What was wrong with the previous solution (that seemed to work) of the check box at the top of the page to enable/disable images, or the show affiliations based on the poster's preference not on the reader's side? --- The Lurker

I mean, could you fix it so we don't have to log in five (5!!!!!!) times in a row to post, or so that we are not constantly redirected to the main forum page when trying to access the character or the player news sections?? I've visited amature sites that don't have these problems, surely CCP has the funds to contract a competent web support firm (or what ever those types of services are called) to maintain their website in working order? ...

Since you obviously have code that can hide things based on your login/logged out status, at least give us adults an option to opt-out of the censor filter. -- My Sig got pwnt by Cortes :(

Also, it was better when you could choose your own corp/alliance details, and you see what other people chose to display for theirs. At least you fixed the login bug though
