I can't imagine many or any older players could go for 2+ years without dabbling in some pvp... or can you?
All I do is PVP. I do have a trader alt though because I lose a ship every 10 days or so and someone has to support my habit.....
I've never been to -5 but I'm having increasing trouble keeping my sec status above -2 and officially I'm a good guy anti-pirate. The problem is the sec status losses you take for podding for bounties.

I spend most of my time arranging carefully choreographed spaceship dances with my corp mates. It can get pretty intense on vent.
FC - "Disco, break right! BREAK RIGHT! YOU'RE MOVING TOO FAST!"

FC - "GARRRH YOU'VE RUINED THE SPINNING SWAN!"
Verone - *sigh* "All right guys, reset, let's get ready for take 18. if we can get the swan right, Episode 2 will ROCK!"

Verone - ""Remember guys, think 'i am beautiful, i am delicate, i am loved.' And, ACTION!"
seriously, that's all we do. its like water ballet, but in space and instead of people we have spaceships.

lol, well that really does knock most of the people off the list then 
I have tried to pvp solo and go one and one but most end up with 'support ships' so to speak in minutes even seconds after engagement.
Since I started the game I have had only one instance of fighting 1 on 1 so we are both in structure, just wish you could get more fights like this

There are loads of people roaming low sec looking to gank belt ratter nubs or engage in 1v1's. Just have to have the patience to find a fight. It's much like fishing. Sometimes there is lots of action, sometimes not.
The one thing you have to be careful of, if you go out alone is that you don't get caught in a gank trap where you think you are engaging 1 or 2 people but then a bunch of buddies warp in on the fight.
I pretty much only pvp, and the vast majority of it is in 0.0 but solo roaming in low sec always makes for a nice vacation away from alliance wars.

I've never PVPd and all kill mails with my name in them are fake. There is no reason to avoid me when I enter local.

I have pvp'd plenty, but have never gone below -5 on any of my chars, in fact only one of my chars has been below 0. That includes living in lo sec, my idea being its always better to let the other guy tank the sentries

Been blown up a few times and blew a couple up in defence of pride and property. I Havent really been playing more than a few months. Running missions in carebearland for ISK and a jump clone. I do look forward to getting into some PVP soon enough. Weather Its from war decs or a Yarrrrr addiction is yet to be seen! The type/style doesnt matter much to me. I think any form of PVP in EVE is exciting so /shrug

Never been below -5, but I've been low enough to get blasted by faction police. VERY embarassing the first time I forgot about my sec status, jumped into Amarr, and got the whole "Garreck, you are an enemy of the Empire and will be destroyed" message. Didn't feel quite like a warmly welcomed Loyalist at that point...

Never got killed, ran around in 0.1 - 0.0 zones in as a tourist in my ibis for a few days without getting owned.. :P

Sight-seeing around 0.0 is actually pretty easy. While I was still in a noob corp I just flew around through Scalding Pass, Tenerifis and a bunch of other regions in 0.0 using a shuttle without getting shot at all... well, until I parked outside a KOS station and started begging to be shot. Took a while, but finally someone stopped and agreed to shoot me.

As a 3 and a half month old player, I'm quite shocked by the amount of people who haven't PvP'd. I love it, I've killed about 50 now, most solo and some gang and it's great, I love it and I've been self sufficient with piracy, despite the lack of belt ratters =(

No,I can't imagine playing without PvP.
My security status hasn't dropped below +2.0 because the pilots I encounter are so eager to shoot first.

If by actually killed someone, then no.
If by being ganked + ransomed + podded (not necessarily in that order), then yes.
Closest I've come to PVP is when we were doing a gang op in Hysera, we got destroyed by Middle School Comedy Club (I think). it was fun, and the first deliberate PVP I've ever done (I knew chances were slim when I warped in, but a corpie needed help).

I never pvpd unless you count that three occasions I got pwned.
Wait. Let me think. I got wasted on the following occasions:
1. A few years back in a small frigate I wanted to get past a 0.4 system somwehere in the central region to fetch some stuff I bought in an otherwise high sec system. Got pwned by a tachyon laser. Got locked in 0.01 sec.
2. Got pwned a year ago in my PvE NH in 0.0 after got kicked from a corp.
3. Got wasted in a cheap Caracal a few months back doing some low level 0.0 mission.
Unless you call this pvp then no, I didn't pvp in this game. Nor in any other games for that matter.
