So I just got a text from a girl that slept with a few weeks ago perhaps two months.
"hey dont know if you remember me, I went the hospital & found out I had clamidia a few weeks ago - dont know if it was you or the two boys after it - but thought would let you know incase you might have it, sorry to break the bad news"
You ask ur self - how does one reply to such a text? How does one react, given the fact I have slept with two girls since her such a girl bein a sister of a friend.
I reply, "thats not good il have to go get checked on monday thanks for letting me know"
How would you react?

Kill myself for being so stupid in the first place.
There are ads for STD and STI all over the place now, (even in the cinemas!!) yet some people unless it's applyed with force can't get anything into there heads.

Seriously, condoms are there for YOU, not anyone else. When they say "wear a condom" they're giving you the opportunity NOT to have to find out these things the hard way.
1: Reply "thanks" or "****" or "you cow" or don't reply, it really doesn't matter.
2: Go to doctors' and get it checked out.
3: Tell the other girl if it turns out you do have it.
4: Don't under any circumstances Google Image Search "chlamydia". Seriously.

it clears up with a course of antibiotics doesn't it? i'm no doctor, but shouldn't worry too much about catching a dose of Chlamydia, apart from some penile nastiness it's not supposed to do much unless you get it in your eyes. the real ****er is that it can make women infertile.
other than that, condoms are a Good Thing. was chatting on a random motorbike forum to a bloke who got AIDS from a one night stand, and how he found out and told the partner who he'd since given aids. the guy was really open about it, and explained at length the reality of it all to the usual internet mong responses. that kinda stuff makes you sit up and take notice.
and it goes without saying, ignore the usual 'kill yourself now, you lose at life learn2condom noob lolz' **** that gets posted, i think it's easy to forget that a large portion of people playing Eve are socially backwards to the point that their all their interraction (social & sexual) is performed via their browser.
this thread isn't really pg13, but i hope it doesn't get locked until it descends into some inevitable flame fest.

Best advice i can offer is probably:
get yourself tested, if its negative you've been lucky, learn from the experience.
If its positive (ie, you've been infected) get the medication, and whatever you do finish the antibiotics course, then get yourself tested again to be sure.
Its a bacterial infection and a single full course will usually kill it completely, but it never hurts to be sure. (not sure if any highly resistant strains exist, i frankly wouldn't be surprised if they do)
Also if the test is positive be sure to warn any and all girls you've had intercourse with after that girl since chlamidia is considerably worse for women than it is for men, its also very contagious so its easy to spread if you have it.

the straight up truth is that at some point in pretty much everybody's life, in teh heat of the moment they'll **** somebody without a condom. if they're lucky all they'll walk away with is a smile. if they're unlucky they'll be making a trip to the GUM clinic.
condoms are freely available, and basic sex-ed at school goes through the risks. there's even a high-profile TV campaign about it on british TV atm. if you get an STI/STD, unlucky. you ****** up but chances are you'll live. now make sure you don't pass it on to anybody else.
professional councelling is a silly suggestion.

The life you describe there is not one I know myself nor wish to know. Were these people not brought up properly? Not taught right and wrong? Do whatever you like whenever you like no matter the consequences is not a good lifestyle ideal.
The straight up truth is that it's irresponsible and you shouldn't be making excuses for his actions.

Maybe you misunderstood me, when I said "Professional Counseling" I did not mean "Psychiatrist".
Here in Los Angeles, when you go get checked, you get a talk plus information with the check by someone who's been there.
Now how is that a bad thing. Would you prefer he continue to sleep around not knowing how to use his wang?

in my lifetime i've drank myself silly, taken ****oads of drugs, slept with more people than i can count on my fingers, made friends, lost friends, got into all sorts of scrapes, never caught an STD, not developed a substance abuse problem and somehow kept a clean criminal record. am i morally bankrupt? not to my mind. but i've lived my own life and had a great time doing it.
now i'm 26, have a decent job, don't use class A's, enjoy a pint or ten with my mates, live with my long-term girlfriend and we're expecting our first child in may.
without the first bit, i don't think i'd appreciate the latter bit so much, and have enough experience to know that whilst the first part was fun it's not wjat i want to spend the rest of my life doing.
the chap in question needs to get hmself down the clinic for a course of antibiotics, and remember this lucky escape next time he's getting laid. i don't see how telling him he's an idiot helps.
