I don't understand your motivation for posting this to be honest. I think you may just be an honest guy who is a little too naive to understand that you have just gone and shot yourself in the foot by posting :)

As someone who was a pretty hardcore Caldari mission runner. Since the changes to missiles cruise has been a far better alternative. Easier to fit, does better damage on smaller ships (which are plentiful in L4 missions) and with target painter takes the raven back towards the level it was before the changes (a pwn all ship).
For this reason alone I think trying to prop up the arb siege was a bad call. The Arb cruise is a different story however.

Anyone care to take down Arbie Heavies down a notch? Pre-invention they were 6-7 mil, now they top 12-15mil

Torp nerf, ftw!
There is a considerable amount of orders, its a fact that people are still happy to pay upto 950k for one, Ive sold over 200 at this price in just a few days,
The main point of this post was to try to stop people de-valuing the product, if u can see a sell order for 950k, where is the logic in puting on a sell order for 600k???, why not just do one for 0.01 of an isk less than mine?? If im not online you will get the next sale for nearer to 950k rather than 600k.
it seems all everyone wants to do is live off the hard work I have done on this item. Im mainly refering to Jita, just stop being greedy and silly, if you work with me we can all make money.
All im asking for is to stop the silly sell orders for 600k to 800k, undercut me by 0.01 isk, I will then undercut you by 0.01 isk when i come online. This way everyone makes good money and were all happy.
Surely you realise the stupidity of this post.
Why should anyone place a sell order for 50 units and spend 5 days micro managing them in a 0.1 ISK game, when it is easier to buy some cheap goods and dump on the market at only 20-40% profit for less than 5 minutes worth of work?
Your post basically asked for 2 reactions:
1. Make a very quick buck off your effort 2. Undercut you so you would get annoyed and continue the rant.
There are many people here who would spend 100m trashing a market for the giggles.
Ok, ill make it simple for your penut sized brain to understand.
ive invested billions in this product and ive become the majority stock holder.
If anyone tries to make a quick buck from this I will keep undercutting them, I can comfortably afford this because ive purchased so many at such a low price. Because the idiot that undercut me by 20% to 40% wants to get his money back he will keep reducing his price till it becomes cheap enuff for me to buy all his stock and then raise the price again.
So the end result is them doing some hauling for me at a very low price, and I will still make a profit. So please keep on undercutting me, I will keep undercutting you.
The only way for anyone else to make profit on this item is to conform to my proposal of 950k per unit, and undercutting me by 0.01 isk, the eve community will pay whatever we set the price at, I know this as a fact. So stop trying to work against me and work with me.
I have the advantage here. Its called Buying Power, have u not heard of it?

All I understand is you came here looking for friends in this little escapade and now you throw out barbs when the majority of people are quick to point out you've vastly underestimated your depth. Nice.

Edited by: KISOGOKU on 26/03/2008 11:24:58 First price is not the first thing you think while you are fitting your ship ,if it had been pvpers wouldnot fit arbalest sieges until range nerf. Second you have no idea have many ppl have not got skill tech2 cruise or siege ,just go to character sell forum and look to chars for sale. last who will buy arbalest sieges 1- 0.0 ratters who need arbalest siegess for cpu problems ( i was using sieges for ratting idk it is still populer or not for 0.0 ratting) 2-Suicide gankers ,this is the biggest customer base in empire ,TRI was using arbalest sieges
Disclamer : Im not market /marketing guy stop targeting me

Its spealt "peanut", and I am not sure my brain is actually that big.
You gave me the opportunity to make some quick ISK'ies for less than 5 minutes work. Thanks!
If you want to spend billions on a nerfed product good luck. It will take a long time to sell all the stock, when you could have moved the money into other money making ventures.
1. Your tieing up your capital whilst other traders are more liquid. 2. Mission runners are also grateful as you have set a bottom at which you will buy a not very good module. 3. No one here will listen or play your 0.1ISK game, not valuable use of time. 4. This has been very entertaining, for which we thank you.

I wonder, with the time the OP will take micro-managing his orders and selling all of it's stock, how much money someone doing missions would make. ------------------------------------------

I'm not exactly on top of the Arby Siege market, but I doubt there's enough demand out there to really make this worthwhile. Plus there's probably a lot of people with large stockpiles, left over from when they were worth more, or picked up since the torp changes on cheap buy orders.
Also, now this is public knowledge, inter-regional trade will pick up more also...

Hmm did the fact that the majority of 'Arbalast' Launchers selling in the multiple millions not give you a huge clue that Arbalast Siege's are not in demand.
I have just started purchasing them at a snip of your price and will come and help you build that huge stock pile soon.

I didnt know people used arby siege on missions.
With the pvp I do, I usually dont fly a ship I cant fit with T2 guns especially not a caldari using missile skills for sure. Beams rails blaster yeah T1 are worth while using on a BS but missiles/torp... common 800k for named launcher when the skills are frankly easy to get for T2.
so If the arby are around the same price as the T2 version I would stay away.

Don't think anyone but the most stubborn people use torps in missions anymore.
I've always found Cruises to be superior myself, but especially after the changes, you can't even rat reliably with torps.

I should really read this forum more often.
This explains why I was able to sell some of these for a completely rediculous price recently.
Of course OP, you do realize that if everybody followed what you propose the way you propose it, that in fact you would be one of the very few people making money on this particular item. In other words, not a chance in ....

This is pretty much the case - I've used Cruises for a long time now for ratting and missioning and since the recent torp nerf's I can't see any benefit to going back to torps.
