CEO STATEMENT - THE STATE OF THE FLEET
There have been a number of questions asked in the week since I assumed responsibility for the CEOship of Goonfleet that unfortunately I have been to this point unable do to time constraints and planning to answer. I'm going to take a moment to try to address some issues as well as make an open statement about my beliefs regarding our current situation. I believe that a lack of information is a bad thing and that part of what I should be doing is keeping you goons informed about what's going on behind closed doors and what our current status is in relation to important space happenings. This post will be but it will be honest and detailed.

I don't think it's any secret that the average goon has felt a disconnection with the leadership as of late. Engaging in a vendetta of the proportions we've been involved in is draining and "doing" is a lot easier than endlessly circling back to discuss things. This is something that is primary on my list of agenda items to rectify. We cannot expect goons to show up and die without reason and without showing a commitment to match if not exceed their sacrifices and expectations. I am working now with our directorate to ensure that we are engaged directly and where we need to make improvement from my perspective we will. Goon leadership under my CEOdome will be visible and will be active.

Which brings me to participation. There are a number of factors that limit our participation on strategic operations. Some of these factors I can fix and some I can't. There may be a perception that leadership isn't pulling their weight. Cynojammers suck. Lag sucks. BoB sucks. We all are aware of these things. Our ops need to be carefully planned and we need to see where we can improve communication as being too opsec simply puts us in a position where nobody "gets" ops. If you don't see the big picture then why should you contribute? I don't disagree with that and I'm not going to insinuate that you SHOULD. I'm not going to ask you to trust myself and my judgement or that of our directorate without being willing to prove it and make the same commitments you are when I can. Expect to see a CEO on the ******* front lines every single time I can be there and expect a ******* explanation if I'm not. Don't take what I'm saying at face value, log on and shoot things with me. I do not dictate without being willing to sacrifice and I have the utmost faith that when lead properly, goons will follow suit.

Your actions and your commitment is the baseline I will use to judge myself and will be the very BASIS of our ongoing involvement. I believe it is important to finish BoB. I believe that we really don't have a choice in the matter. I also believe that we can achieve this goal but I need every single one of you with me to get it done. It makes sense to me to remind you that we are NOT engaged in a war of aggression against BoB, chosen by us. We are engaged on a mission of defense that has spanned a large portion of the map and multiple allegiances. We fight them because if we walk away, they will rebuild and hit us again and again and again.

The issue here is not whether we want to go kill some other entity. We all do. I'm pretty tired personally of fighting BoB under the current mechanics and I don't mind feeding them that forum **** because I don't fear honesty. BoB is tired as well. BoB is in a bad place right now. The difference between me and Molle is not just a thousand years in age, race and propensity towards pedophillac sodomy. The main difference is he needs to lie to his people to make them log in on a daily basis and I want to do what goons want to do, regardless of whether it's difficult or inconvenient.
