INFOD is the best pirate corp i ever have been in to, but atm it's a bit inactive. Was the reason i joined Quam, but ofc, i hope they will get back to their original root and starts to do low sec ops often, like we had the time against Namtz alliance .

YNC merged into DOOM. 
EARN is small, but pretty cool, though I'm biased. It tussled with a lot of the bigger corps (and in some cases alliances) over it's (2 years in August) history.
I'd go with DNA though (and I found a neat video of EARN and DNA fighting, where they smacked EARN around a little, heh), as they were fun to fight.

I think youve got to look at the old school pirates when looking for the best, ATUF were always quite scary round molden heath, burn eden are still making peoples lifes miserable, i dont care if you dont agree with there tatics them guys are awesome pvpers. Veto are good but i think they are a tad over hyped, but verone has done an awesome job with them. Im not a fan of infod, theyve got some good pvpers but i think that Damiges vids made them look better than they are.

sorry but we are not pirates, we are almost anti pirates, we often go to low sec to get their camps. while we ocassionally kill something neutral in low sec, but thats very rare :)

INFOD was my first an only pirate corp and represents the most fun I've had in game in 3 and a bit years. If I can't choose them then,..
Pound for pound,Mortis Angelus take some beating. They are fairly small but active and all good mates. They keep quite publically, but have some very skilled players who will rip you a new one if you ever came across their fast ship gangs.
Forgon's 300+ jump roaming trips will last with me till the servers die

We are not pirates or at least no by EvE population description of piracy, if anything we are anti pirates. We go out of our way to kill low sec gankers, and we usually never gank in low sec our selves.
Personaly I would give the best pirates award to Church, Infod, Tundragons for the recent ones.
From the dead pile it would be Zombie, mOo, TFA, FE.

I'm going to vote TI. They have a lot of patience to sit there and wait for the right time to strike. They change their tactics when necessary. The smack is strong with them. All good attributes of a pirate imo.

This topic again. What exactly constitutes a good pirate corp though?
I guess a good pirate corp is one which wins most if not all of their fights. On personal experience, I've not seen a single one of these for a long time.
I guess there's more to piracy though. This is not a "who is the best small-scale PvP corp" thread, eh? There's the ability of the pirates to maintain operations even after they've caught a nasty anti-pirate's attention - the ability to get kills and ransoms despite being hunted by the bloodhounds. That is very, very important. A lot of the *cough* wanna-bes run and hide, or dock up after being pounded to space-dust. A really good pirate shouldn't let others dictate their game-play like that.
Like last time this topic came up, I'll give Veto props, even if they are the forum darlings. In my experience, when both sides have heavy groups, they go at it and stuff explodes left and right. When they have smaller, lighter groups they run and keep operating. That's quality.
I'll similarly also make a note of Mutual Assured Distraction as up-and-comers here. The Amamake neighborhood gets lots of pirates and they all mostly suck - these guys have made a few good showings.

Honestly, I find these threads kind of pointless, because there are few people that actually know many good pirate corps first hand. Thus it comes down to:
1) Who a person thinks is good (i.e. is big and popular, have heard about)
- VETO
- 0utbreak
- INFOD
2) What pirate corps are close to where you usually fly.
Usually, people who are responding are 0.0 or empire, so rarely do they know #2 well, so it goes to #1.
Not to suggest that those corps are bad (I personally feel they are the best, but only from what I have heard other people say, never first hand experience)...so I am boat #1, but the issue still stands.

Here are my picks:
1. TeddyBears(they started it all and dominated syndicate who didn't know of Zarq 3 years ago?)
2. D.N.A.(MHC anybody anyone who has played this game for awhile always knew what MHC was like. These guys deserve the upmost recognition)
3. Jokers(they started the whole merlin asks for the ransom as BS holds you at gunpoint. Props!

Hah! I'm surprised the old Genesis residents remember us. >_> It's been a while! Good times, though those were the days when we only had max-20 active members in our corp lol.
Trying to think back of who scared me the most when i started playing... I heard the most about MAFIA, especially around ... i think it was Gonditsa, can't remember as that system is basically dead nowadays, but back then we never went there lol. This day and age, I think Veto takes the cake, mostly cause even as a pirate, there was nothing we could really do against their recon gangs. It was pretty unnerving, i guess.

Certainly not the best pirate corp coz of its size, but I would say Mortis Angelus is one of the good and old Piracy schools ( specially in the old days around Heimatar region ..)
In the employement history of many valuable old school pirates & PvP'ers (now in big PvP corps/alliences) you can find MORTS tag.
Also Infod had really good times in the past and made it self a name to remember.

Est. was a joke when they were lowsec gate camping with 2-3 moms. They did have a good rotation system in for moving around and I'll admit I've never see them do any pirating outside of the solo-gatecamping mom days. Other than that I'd say they are average.
Had to lol at Ange1 warping his Nyx alt in to save his Vindi when he picked the wrong fight... If they got out of the cap-ships I'm sure they could be great, and at least they'd do it in style.
