QuestionHmmm dont see any tracking mods for either low slots or the medium.

I think the medium slot tracking mods are...

1.monopulse
2.orion
3.optical
4.?

the lows

1.faq-delayline...something
2.
3.fourier transform
4.

Not sure I have the right order but maybe someone else knows them all?
Wink

Great idea however-always wanted a list like this

I don't like the Mk I - IV idea. it's not always obvious which one is the best.

Examples: Beta and Mark I are the best (in cpu) in power diagnostic systems but Local Hull is best in cargo expanders.

Is CL-5 better than Clarity Ward in shield boosters? (more shield boost vs less cpu).

Its the damage that raises peoples eyebrows, but other various fiddly things that makes the more discerning killer wink. Thus, we should consider having the most destructive weapon variant given the highest mk, while leaving the hidden deatails for those who wish to look.

I dont have problems with the current naming system.

its usually bonuses of 5, 10, 15 or 20%

In weapons, there are different types of bonuses on different types of named weapons. (cap usage/cpu usage/damage bonus and tracking bonus)
so in named weapons, the mk system doesnt make much sense.

Good work Cindy! You could have copy-pasted it from certain sources but it's not always easy to find.

Anyways I think different improvements can be made on names and types. For 1 I find that there shouldn't be any commen names but specific names for a certain type of weapen. Like scout=projectile, proto=hybrid and so on. Certain names are type-specific (compressed coil, modulated, ...) but others are not.

Special names have a nice ring to them off course but a system of numbers and versions is a little more obvious.

Use of colors for some part of the item's image could be nice. When inspecting an item before sale you know what "grade" it is through it's color. Like basic is yellow, then the named ones are: red, purple, blue and black or something. Just use colors you can identify easily, not like the brown and red used in threats.

Then I also think that the use of images isn't always consistant with the item. It might be that this has been fixed in some patch but I can't check right now since I have no Eve here. But I remember having a hard time identifying cap relays from power diag's since they had the same image. Also there could be minor differences between cap relay's and cap flux's.

In general you should be able to tell what an item is just by looking at your screen. Not needing to move your mouse over it or even get the info screen would be so cool.

Nice list..

Anyway, if new names was added I say a mix of old ones and new ones..

Like:

425mm "Prototype Gauss" Railgun I Mk V

We still have the names that make it a little more fun, and the Mk X to help clear up what is best. Smile

Most tired of thing atm:
