Edited by: Ghengis Tia on 09/04/2008 21:54:56 Trading is the fastest way if you're just starting out in EVE. As another poster said, go to Market forums and glean tips.
It will take a lot of work, hauling stuff from market hub to market hub, hanging in a market hub station and keeping your prices the lowest (even by .01 Isk.)
Tenacity will enable you to sell your stuff quicker than the next guy. When you sell all of an item, they begin to sell theirs and the market is shared and no one gets too bent.
If you try to undercut by large percentages, you'll just hack off someone with a lot of Isk and they'll drive you out by pricing their stuff below your cost. Like I said, even .01 Isk lower is sufficient.
You'll need to familiarize yourself with all the information on the buy-sell order screen. There is a tab that will tell you the volume of the item selling, concentrate on getting those items at a lower price. They'll sell faster.
T2 modules, guns, launchers, etc. all sell well and have large margins once you get enough Isk to invest in them.
Tip of the day - Caldari Navy Missiles.
Check and adjust your prices as soon as you log on, between missions, and every time just before you log off.

It's simple:
1 Start a corp, 2 Get lots of players to join it 3 Charge them 15% tax 4 Skim off the top into your personal account 5 ???? 6 Profit!
Huh I wish

BEGIN Infomercial....
You too can make ISKies from your tiny T1 Frigate! How, you say? By placing tiny ads in the Eve Classified Billboards! I made millions of ISKies placing tiny ads and you can too!
You ask, how much will it cost? Programs like this often sell for 500,000 ISKies or more. But if you respond now, I'll practically give it away at the low price of 99,999 ISKies. I'll send you via Evemail step-by-step instructions in creating your own tiny ads. You can easily make millions of ISKies per week with my method.
And, as an added bonus, I'll throw in step-by-step instructions for surviving in low-sec. No reason to create safe spots, open the scanner, or even check local in my guaranteed method. Send now, 99,999 ISKies for this valuable program for placing tiny ads with the bonus of learning to survive low-sec!!
Regards, Donny Lapree

By finding other very rich people, and stealing their wealth.
For an individual, there isn't a more efficient way to do it.

Um... yeah
It doesn't have to be obvious theft either. Steal 90% of the value of an item from someone in a really nice trade deal is much the same thing; without all the hassle of alts and, um... dark hoods and crap.

Some of us like dark hoods, and don't forget the fuzzy handcuffs, and perhaps little pvc rubber... mmmmmm... delicious.
By the way, what is this thread about anyway? I just saw "dark hoods" and had to reply.

Back before they had RAM bpos...
I keyed all my alts to L4 production missions where the mission rewards were up to 100 RAM per mission...
Then I sold EVERYTHING down to the last raven...
Then I bought ALL the RAM EVERYWHERE I could... Pushing the price out to 350000 PU for RAM starship mods for example...
Then as the playerbase cried for the RAM bpos, I spammed L4 couriers missions for weeks and slowly sold off all the RAM stockpiles into the T2 bpo holders...
That was my first 10 billion...
Most of the other secrets I use havent been nerfed yet, so I cant share those.

nice. very nicely done.
And since we're being serious for a moment. When the tier 3 BS BPO's were seeded there was a disparity of about 300m ISK between the initial prices offered by NPC's in Lonetrek and The Forge.
The Forge is ofc where most people buy crap so it was easy to shift a couple of these at a time between neighbouring systems and make a fast buck. Well.. 6.5 billion on the first day.
