I think you should be able to change - have another 'photo' taken if you want to think of it that way. Different clothes hair, lighting. Would be good to change your looks as you see fit when your activities in Eve change. Changing race goes much too far however. I think it should beimplemented into certain systems - maybe not the newbie ones otherwise everyone would be at it all the time.

get over yourselves. it's a game that doesn't even have all of it's tech2 items out yet. i'll take battlecruisers over changing my makeup anyday.

no, should have chosen more carefully....i picked crappy atttributes when i started and they're not gonna let me change those. I see little difference.

Pleeease god (CCP), allow us to change the way our characters look. I had no idea I would be stuck with this crybaby-looking version of Elijah Woods...
It looked satisfactory to begin with, but after 10 months you kinnda start noticing how bad it really was. Furthermore Gallente would be my last choice of race, considering what carreer I would later find most appealing...
Pleeeeease. Dear god (CCP), pleeeeeeease

erm all this sounds dandy and nice, but dont u think theres enough lag without 10,000 players doing a show info to see there bumchums new look. btw changing races i see as never an option. maybe if you isks high enough you can goto a cloner that'll erase your rname and portrait and transfer it to a new one keeping skill points. i doubt it though

I'm all done telling my ghoststory now, turn off that damn flashlight!
If they programmed a way to lock movement within a very small part of the spectre in facial features as to just be able to tweak the appearance a little there would be no problem, people who you recognized before you'd probably recognize again and even if you didn't not everyone has picture perfect facial recollection and peoples faces change with time.

I am happy enough with picture, race, and attributes.
But after a while it was brought to my attention that my name in some circles is associated with a certain goddess of pain, poison, misery and death 
Perhaps not someting to give a high priority, but some change might be a good way to keep things feeling fresh.
Who knows, even I might tire of looking this secretive and smug after a year or so
