As of now, Goonfleet is the largest single entity in Eve-Online. We control multiple regions of space for your ISK farming pleasure. We have just ground to dust one of the oldest corporations that had previously stood in our way. Goonfleet is arguably the largest Something Awful guild in any MMO. Goonfleet holds over three thousand individual characters. A large part of this is simply due to how cool Eve is at its core, but most Goons who are in Goonfleet will say that they donÆt play Eve-Online, they play Goonfleet.

If you want to join goonswarm you need to understand this is no small thing. People wanting to join sigma squad will need to contract me the recruitment fee and evemail me to start the ball rolling.

How much is the fee and why should i pay?
The fee is only 50 million isk. It's large enough to keep out the useless players who are too stupid to learn the basic's of eve but small enough so the dedicated players have the oppertunity to join us.
The fee is basically to cover the cost of all the frigates you'll get blown up in the first few weeks and so we can provide you with the skill books you will need to fill those holes and really become a more specialised unit in our squad.
If you want to join CONTRACT the ISK to this character DO NOT give the money. It's easier to keep track of this way and helps to avoid any scams.
Once you've contracted the ISK it may take a week or longer for me to arrange an interview and start the process depending on how many people show interest in this.
NOTE: I will NOT accept the contracted ISK until i'm available to start your interview so if you change your mind or are lacking the patience for me to get around to you then it's perfectly possible for you to cancel the contract and get your ISK back with no loss at all.
Remember this is the first and only time that we've attempted to recruit via this method so make the most of it while you can. We only have limited places available.

No offense, but I certainly put my question marks around the fact that you're a 2.5 million SP character and apparently are able to recruit already.
Sounds like a scam to me really. |

i am new to Sigma squad too if you look.
I just wanted to make myself useful to goonswarm and spoke with a few people and suggested this, we decided it would do more good than harm to us and our public image by recruiting a few more non goons into the squad.
As i said, the ISK is to be contracted so you're perfectly able to retract it if you feel something is not right but i have no intention at all of scamming anyone from ISK.
I want to drive up numbers in our squad and i have much at stake here as anyone who want's to join as i will be booted from goonswarm myself if i don't reach my quota.

Cause i took it on just for sigma squad. It's not a goonfleet wide recruitment drive.
I wanted to make myself useful in the squad and my squad leader sarcastically suggested i go and recruit...
After i thought about it for awhile i figured it was not such a bad idea and decided to set it up. I spoke with a director about it and he gave it the greenlight so long as i stick to a few rules and i recruit people right for goonswarm/sigma and not just random toons.
Hence the interviews etc.
Not everyone is going to get in. You've got nothing to loose.. where i have if i don't recruit the right people or enough of them.

Anybody sending ISK to a character who admits both that their Corporation doesn't recruit publicly and enjoys stealing from people is going to deserve what they get. |

If the 50 million ISK is for replacing frigates, they can keep it simple and just buy them themselves.
If it's to discourage people who aren't serious, you can overcome Goonswarm's reputation for scamming by having the ISK sent to a trusted third party - talk to Chribba. |

Cause if people don't trust us to give the isk back or even let them in why should we trust that person to have access to our resources?..
We're only looking for a certain type of person who's going to fit in here as it is.
People will get rejected.. Infact i've just rejected the first applicant. We don't want carebears.

Any corporation charging for the basics a good corporation provides for free or due to a team effort around it smells like a scam - 50 million is like 100 frigs or make that 50 plus fittings - that ammount is insane

This is a question not flame.
How can a noobie pay 50 mil to join your squad and be expected to fly frigs? When a player can throw up 50 mil without problems, he can fly much better ships then t1 friggs, and make much more use?
The idea of put 50 mil in a fee for applyin is not bad, cuz that makes many nutters not to apply, but it is still not a great solution...

That was just an example. I've just been given my first Typhoon that the corp has paid for plus fittings. That right there is worth more than the 50 million.
First 2 people have been accepted with another 1 rejected.

I'm a noob looking for a corp. But, even I can put 50 million into a Calculator and find out I can buy 1666 Frigates at 30000 ISK each. Thanks for supplying me with "free" tacklers.

Plus all the fittings you'll be supplied with... and future skill books and other ships.
Plus if you look i did say after the first 3 month's the money will be returned to you.

Players need to weigh up the risks and the rewards and when you consider the massive support structure the Goons have in place - 50m ISK starts to look like a bit of bargain.
Putting aside for a minute the huge Wiki with recomended ship fittings, rates, routes, tips, and the rest and they're own radio station - don't forget that to be a Goon also means that you'll last longer in 0:0 than if you entered 0:0 on your own.
0:0 is where are the ISK is to be made - so the choice is yours.
Start off in Empire Space for three months plus to gradually build up skills and kit so you can venture into low sec - and possibly survive.
Or risk the 50m to get a head start as a Goon and reap the rewards with richer bountys and mining.
P.S - I'm no Goon.

Sorry GoonFleet goon swarm whatever they want to call themselves are The Worst Single Entity in the Entire Eve Universe All they got on their side is Numbers thats it End of story. Without Every other Major Alliance Flying with them they could not even think of standing toe to toe with BOB. I also I might add you know all the Nerfs CCP Made for Drones for Titans for NOS? 80% of the reason why These Nerfs happen is because Goonswarm Members Complained about it. So CCP Seeing that There are soo many people complaining about it Decided to Nerf it.
Oh By the way to anyone that Thinks GoodSwarm is like the best Alliance ever? And they don't exsploit? You need mental Help and stop reading their propaganda They exploit like Everyone else actualy they exploit more than any other Alliance Besides BOB. I been playing this Game since 04 i've killed at least 200 goons in my time. and none of them have posed a significant challenge to me.
And To all those Who think Goonswarm is better than BOB? PFT your Just destroying one evil for a Greater Evil You think GoonSwarm Doesn't Kill Innocent People? yeah Your blind. They "Swarm" every single Region every solar system and kill everything they can Miners, Haulers, Combat pilots, People that rat to gain money and they post the kill mails in local So they can make themselves feel good. Yeah Sorry Bob have not Done that.
Oh Btw I heard from some people pro goon that Bob pilots are Mean when you talk to them.. Yeah no their not. They are actualy More nice than any 10 pilots you contact in Goonswarm. Hell MC pilots are nice.
Fact is don't lisen to the Propaganda from Goonswarm. Without Red Alliance IAC, Etc. There would be No Goon .

Yes I support Band of Brothers They Are Vet Pilots, Little History Note. When they Defeated ASCN, They allowed ASCN pilots Into Bob. Wow Arn't they cool? Nicer than you think.
