It Would make it Interesting for the People in Eve.
All the Bears (self Included) that Dident Quit would have NO reason to play the game At All in High sec and would be Forced to join a 0.0 corp. That said all the 0.0 space ive seen Sucks. At this point It would Be come 1.0 is the Crappy space with Pve things to Do, and No other reason to be there. Vs 0.0 That has good ore and Protection from other Players (gate camps).
In the End tho I feel it would kill Eve and It wouldn't recover.
There are Several Mechanics that could fix this tho.
The Abbility of the Escort ships to Actually Protect the haullers. (Transferd shields that Dont suck, Massive Bubbles like Outposts use, A Ecm tool that Messed with the Targeting of All ships in the area Makeing it Target them only for a few seconds(Taunt), Colision Detection for Weapons fire, So I can Block Friendlies *Tho this would Frack Fleet battles*, Ect.)
Giveing Us Bears Ships that can Haul and SURVIVE a attack from a Cheep Cruiser and Let us Pound them Back. (Serisouly WTF is Up With the Haullers in this game not Being able to fit a Desent gun??? Can ANY one name a SciFi show where the Transports Dident Upgrade to something that Dident Suck???)
Turrents at gates that Arn't Pea shooters. If there are 4 Turrents at a Gate and NO Concord and I hit a camp of 5 Battleships 2 Of those Basterds had Better DIE... as it is They are a Waste of server Load WAY more than Concoard for god sakes. At least Concord can Kill something!
And 2 more things.
1. Remove Local and give us Scanners that DONT SUCK! Let us warp to People and Intresting things Way Easier and make it Based off of the Size of the ship For the lock and Warp times,(If the target warps Aboart and track it so we have a Chance to Turn the tables on the attacker)
2. A Way around the Stupid gates!!! Nothing IS MORE ANNOYING than a F'ing gate camp. (Unless theres 4 Turents poping shots in the attacker dir thats tanking them in a BC...) I Under stand Gates were Put in so Eve's Massive Universe Dosent feel Empty, But Gess What it IS ITS F'ING EMPTY Except the Choke points and the High sec space(Even that has Huge areas that are pointless).
I Love Eve But as it is theres NO point to trying to go to 0.0 W/O a 0.0 Aliance's Blessing Because you cant get there!(Shy of luck or a Big Effert of alot of friends) and there are SO few stations that it feels pointless unless you can setup a bace camp and keep it hidden But if you log in for more than a few Min. the map shows 20 People in that Back water System.
Ahh well I Really should Dump my accounts and go to something else as Ill never have the time to have the Experience's Id like to have in Eve W/O Beeing ganked Raped by Other people getting their Jollies At my Expence, and DEVS that just dont care about those of us that Would Perfer to Explore and Seek Friends the old fashon way, By talking to them before joining a corp/alliance.
I Just cant shake the Idea of letting my 36 Mill Sp char Die like that.... Im Weak I Know. Hell Im still paying for my 2, 25 Mill Sp alts So I Must Really be weak :P
