Most young people these days have no patients. This is especially true for kids in America. Im still new to EVE only about 3 days old. I was able to figure out the difficult interface with a little patients but i dont think the average underprivilaged American could figure it out. it should be easier for the noobs and us poor Americans.
eiter way I cant stop playing no matter how frustrated i get. the whole concept is fantastic and i will tell everyone i know.
thanks gracias danke merci bedankt shersher arigato

Average underprivileged American? Are you for real?
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started.

If someone is to du.. erm, average underprivilaged to figure out the interface even with tutorial and all he shouldn't play this game - it only gets harder afterwards

I see it like this -
The interface is designed to weed out the unfocused. Because if they cant deal with the interface, then how can they deal with a lot more complex matters of the game which can even include a lot of maths. Eve's like a colourful spreadsheet that you get to play with :P

they have no patients? What are they doctors?
just joking, especially if English isn't your first language. I'm a bit of a spelling ****.
However I do agree, the interface can use some work.
But most Americans underprivlaged? Again, I disagree

As much as I like what the picture is portraying, it is all wrong. The axis is all wrong. It suggests that Eve is actually easier than other MMORPGs as it seems to be showing the gaming skill going up in virtually non-existent time. Oh and you cant have negative time either. :P

Foo', it shows the gaming skill required in order to keep going. I agree however, that the axis is wrong. It needs one of those little squiggles between POTBS and EVE, the kind that implies there's a helluva lot of blank space inbetween, so much that we couldn't be bothered putting it in thankyouverymuch. ______________________________________

Probably not. Most young medical doctors are far too busy studying or working. If they are frittering away their time on this game they should find a different career. -- (Sarcastic mission running veteran, 4+ years)

Ok so...this thread is going all over.
But I will say that EVE has a terribly clunky interface, for what a great game it is. Needs dramatic overhauls, IMO. |

Some people agree with me!!! Im sorry if I offended some of you SUPER GEEKS. I wouldn't want to upset the washed and useless. when i said "underprivilaged Americans" I was refering to the education system. I guess I should have been more specific.
