The titan pilot, who is also the main figurehead of the enemy alliance, allowed himself to make a dumb newbie mistake and cost the alliance its biggest asset. TRI/INSURG simply capitalized on that.

No spy, it was just like Selene's, they got a scan off when he was decloaked (crashed or what not), and found him the old fashion way...believe it was a spy if you want...but the truth is fast probers...

Ok seeing as though RZR know the truth and i've now been better informed...
A PURE guy convo's our fc and says 'im at the titan in local' or something along those lines. Our FC, believing it to be a trap, gets a volunteer (Dwain Dibbly) to warp to the PURE guy.
He gangs up the PURE guy and is 9km off the Titan. Immediately locks and shoots it and screams like a girl for people to warp in.
So not a spy. But given all the lame **** we've had to deal with with spies (hi whoever felt the need to ring me and tell me i like to suck***** repeatedly on tuesday)...well, what goes around comes around.

It's funny how fast the "moral high ground" club turn to smacking other corps/alliances that really have nothing to do with the loss at all when they kill a single ship, however valuable it may be.
I would, though, like to congratulate Insurgency on the well planned kill, good job guys and I hope to see more kills like this in the near future from you guys. Shame the fit on that Erebus was so horrible, at least you guys got some decent loot out of it though  .
