I used to love eve but its turned into a pile of crap.
i certainly wont be recommending it to anyone anymore.
Unless the game mechanics change.
You may as well have 0.0 sec across the whole eve universe for all the good it can do you if you are in a hauler or freighter

Don't be daft. In 0.0, a single inty would have popped your AFK hauler.
In highsec, it took significantly more effort than that - I mean, the guy who spotted your hauler spend _an hour_ bumping it, for one thing.
It's just, the payoff of your haulerload of really really pimp loot, was worth losing ships over.
Your hauler would have been perfectly safe if you'd been at the keyboard, warping to zero. This would not have been the case in 0.0.

I really, really wish there were more people like this flying around. Everyone should AFK all their stuff through empire and then whine about it. And all their loot should drop, too. It's only fair. :-)

shakeshead, will you stop blaming the game mechanics, for starters you say your almost 3years old and one hauler had your life earnings regardless if you was auto pilot or not please thats sounds stupid, surely by now you have all that 3YRS LIFE WORK in a station where you operate from, as i dont see a cop ticker on your post I persume you was in a npc corp for 3yrs, you sound like a little baby boy (you) crying to its mother (CCP), seriesly I dont know anyone in there right mind who move 3-4billon worth of stuff in a hauler, thought alot of people join corps and have low sec base to used carriers......Grow up you whinning baby |

stop hauling crap afk. always warp to zero, even if moving 70 jumps. there is no need to be that lazy. you can wtz and insta jump just about everywhre in nearly everything while watching tv.
when empyrian age hits and everyone is losing ships left and right, and tehre are little to no miners left or even people with bpo's to make things making a rifter cost 1.5m....cry about it then.

By that, I mean bumping.

WTF is that all about? If I can hold a freighter in place with my Ibis by bumping it, then it's time to discuss a little basic physics with the Devs. Even fake game physics shouldn't allow this.

I believe bumping is done by an 'innovative' design in ships featuring some proximity sensors and an equal reaction by the ship to not bash into the other ships.
