Can anyone offer advice on the best system to work Caldari Navy agents? I'd like to find a system or area with good lvl 3 and 4 agents close to each other. Obviously I'd like them close to a trade hub as well if possible, and in high sec. Thanks for any help. |

III: Isikesu, 6 jumps from Jita. IV: Motsu, 2 (or 3) jumps from Jita.
III/IV: Kakakela, 2 or 3 jumps from Jita.
All of thse systems are more overcrowded than any other place, Isikesu being the only exception.

Don't do it. Caldari Navy is oversubscribed because a lot of people think that it offers items that are exclusive to it.
That isn't true.
Any Caldari corporation offers the same items. Find a different one that isn't as oversubscribed and you will avoid laggy and pirate infested systems. -- (Sarcastic mission running veteran, 4+ years)

This.
I really don't understand the appeal of working for Caldari Navy, is it just because it seems like the default option? Even if it did sell items that were exclusive to it, there's so many people running CN missions that surely the scope for making high ISK-per-LP is low because you're competing with so many other players with the same idea?
Last time I tried selling some CN ammo I ended up having to babysit the sell order for an hour or more dropping the price by 0.01 ISK lower than the other 100000 CN mission runners with the same idea. Not my idea of fun at all.
Then you have the suicide gank element - it seems to me that the risk around the CN hub (Aramachi/Irjunen/Motsu, etc) makes it almost equivalent to low-sec.

As others have said, don't do it.
Use Spacelane Patrol or something - Caldari Navy will send you to systems with 400-500 people in. The lag is terrible and you'll likely lose your ship to it. You'll also get people coming into your missions to steal your wrecks. -- Ralara / Ralarina

Try torrinos, lots of nice agents there, and a storyline agent next door in ibura to boot.

With a 0.0 system + round-the-clock-gatecamp next door in the other direction? |

Agents don't send you there but yes, you do have quite a lot of the 0.0 folk coming through... (When you are in an active tanked ship and you see local go past 150, probably dock up since it's most likely a fleet is moving through torrinos going to EC and that can cause some lag I have noticed)

Torrinos has nothing to see keep moving.
Torrinos doesn't have Navy there its got Home Guard and Spacelane Patrol and yes all missions are sent to EC-P8R
J/K never been sent to -0.0 sect from agent yet.
Just check agents in Lonetrek if you pick up HG and SP corps you will have a lot of options. I don't know what the hub is in lonetrek I take all my stuff to Jita during the week when theres not that much lag.
Stay away from Motsu area!!!
Lonetrek normally has 150+ in main systems on weekends with out the lag that the Citadel has with that many.

These guys are right about navy missions and the over-population in navy agent systems, Umokka had been unofficialy dubbed "New Jita" for its lag... but if youre looking for a good place to run level 3 navy missions, try Nourvukaiken VII, Moon 14, Caldari Navy Assembly. Also, Tsuguwa is a good system for levle 2s But, beware, the level 3 agent may want to send you into Tama, and you stand a serious risk of getting ganked by gate campers. hope this helps. |

I can answer that, I am the uber noob, been playing a whooping 2 days. But I am an experienced MMO gamer...seems like this was the only one I hadn't played. Anyway...I read over ALL the descriptions and Caldari seemed to fit my general play style....and yes you are right it seems to be the default race. Why Navy, I dunno, seemed like a good start for learning the basics. |
