Yeah, and while we're at it we can create a controlled environment around account hacking and credit card fraud and all the other EULA breaches.. because it's always preferable to assist criminals towards the way you want them to be breaking the law rather than actually stopping them from breaking the law.
Nah, I reckon you're wrong. We already have GTC sales and that's not there to allow people to buy ISK but to allow people to play the game. The fact you gain ISK through RMT is just the incentive for people to pay for other peoples play time. Honestly, did you really think this post (whatever it's purpose) through?

Please keep your replies related to EVE Online.
It is also improtant to note that you should remain civil and polite when replying even if you disagree with the OP's sentiments.

Merely pointing out the slippery slope in your suggestion. I thought it would be a lot nicer than my actual take on your suggestion. But I guess I cannot please everyone.

I wasn't being sarcastic.. I was giving you an example on where thinking like that will lead to. I prefer to tackle the logical side first before wasting time on my opinion. Rules aren't there to be bent and broken because it's more convenient. They're there because they're better for society as whole, even if they're inconvenient to some, than their absence. Take the speed limit on urban roads for example.
You can also see the other player responses on the economic effect of trying to compete with ISK farmers especially once you make it easier for them to macro it up. No need for me to reiterate that. You already have my opinion on the logic behind the idea so implementation is moot.
I'd also like to ask you to refrain from demanding how I conduct myself on the forums. You're under no obligation to listen to anything I say nor am I under any obligation to post here. I'll leave you to your topic rather than insult you any further with my conduct. Thank you.

This thread has gone on long enough.
PrismX has explained perfectly why we do not permit RMT and macros and there is simply nothing left to say on the subject.
Locked.
