After talking to some bobbits, it turns out that P-L and Goons were both victims of social engineering/meta-gaming by BoB, as part of a way to get them to divert their attacks and attention elsewhere.

Apparently, BoB has some spies in Bruce. This led to these Bruce characters having convos on scrapheap and in-game which leaked intel making P-L and Goons want to attack the Bruces. This was all part of BoB's plan, to give the Bobbits some breathing room while they go after IAC and parts east.

I'm impressed at the level of meta-gaming by BoB on this one, it was awesome. They managed to get the coalition to turn in on itself, divert fighting away from them, and then make it so they could easily attack one of the larger non-involved parties (IAC).

BoB, my hat goes off to ya, you ended the great war and never had to actually take any space. You guys really do own this game. :)

I did not initially believe this until now. One of my directors(mazz) was good friends with Darius Johnson back when he was in snigg, and it turns out that Darius was in fact a bob spy. Mazz's friendship with Darius caused her to become friendly towards bob as well once she discovered Darius's secret.

So last night, I found out that mazz has banned me from my own forums, and is now attempting to acquire all outstanding snigg shares in order to overthrow me.
