In the video devblog about the new noobships and the art process in general, there were several shots which included the white board which was used to track the process of projects.
This is where the first "proof" of missile launchers came from (as they were on the board), stealth bombers were also on the board, so was the drake IIRC. This is why we think stealth bombers are getting remodeled (that and it makes sense with the new launchers)

So...
small (light) and medium (heavy) launchers will track target like turrets, and large (cruise and torpedo) and citadel will launch like real cruise missiles, launch, lock target and then make loop to follow target.
I like ti so much.
And that reload animations... |

While I'm all excited about getting actual launchers, what makes me more excited is the idea that this means they will finally take a look at all the things about missiles that need fixing/balancing. I only know a few but there is much that could be done. And when this goes live I will be getting my fof heavy drake going again just to watch all the missiles fly. |

These things look awesome and make me want to see the ideas on new stealth bombers models very, very badly.
I would be greatly disappointed if there was no preview of those and the (according to the CSM) extremely cool launch graphics during the fanfest.
