IÆm not one to whine or make demands of CCP but I canÆt take it anymore. ôMaterials for War Preparationö needs to go. This mission is total crap and I am tired of getting it. Please, please, please get rid of it. |

It's only total crap in terms of faction standing. It's a very nice mission in terms of ISK. For a couple million worth of kernite you get a +4 implant. For about 10 seconds of total work, assuming someone has kernite for sale in that station. |

I've only ever gotten the Charisma implant. After buying the kernite I make 10-15 mil isk. I make more than that on any lvl 4 mission. |

This story line ain't so bad actually. You can easily haul the Kernite to your station in a Bestower, and you should be having one of those in case you move station or decide to loot an entire pocket of Gone Berserk.
If you think this mission is bad, then wait to you get "A Special Delivery" or whatever it's called. You're required to haul 40k m3 loot from 3-5 jumps and you get that silly story line even from combat agents. |

You don't make more than that in 10 seconds of any mission. And you get different implants depending on which agent gives you the mission. |

I also agree it's crap. 16 level 4 missions to get THAT? What a waste of time.

I think the mission needs to get a big boost for faction standing. The war materials on the otherhand should shift and be made a mining mission where you go get fake kernite or omber.
Special delivery is a pain. Iteron 5 plus maxed everything except the tech 2 rigs. You get 38,000 m3. You cant even put these inside giant cans to increase your space because they take up 1000m3. You gain nothing. I say special deliver ought to be changed to double the amount of units but they are only 500m3. That way giant cans will work. It's just easier.

LMAO - or you can buy a ****load of kernite for nothing and sell it at the station for a sweet profit to all the other mission runners using that agent. No muss, no fuss for them - ching ching for you. Rinse and repeat.

Yup, and my Storyline agent nearly always offers it as a trip to low-sec as well. Bargain -- (Sarcastic mission running veteran, 4+ years)

I've made the choice to stay in high sec three years ago just because of too many people with attitudes like that ...
This is off-topic, but I DON'T enjoy the PvP side of eVe, I find that more boring that watching paint dry and more painfull than having my balls nailed to a wall.
Now, about that mission, yes the payout is lame-ish (even if +4 imps are always usefull), but there are other ones, even worse, the "Special Delivery" where you must move 40 containers, each being 1.000m¦ and unable to be put inside another container (except General Freighter ones, but I'm not sure on that) being on the top of my personnal scale of annoyingly stupid missions (my usual storyline agent sends me to lowsec too for that one, always the same 0.3 system 5 jumps away from the nearest highsec, a real PITA). |

The 40k m3 mission is a chore, but the standings boost is nice. Same as the tougher combat missions.
Especially a drag when they want you to haul it to low sec. Last time I was sent to a rather quiet system --- but with 8% standings on the line even the quietest system isn't safe. I hate to imagine how bad that would hurt if you had to fail that mission because some of the cans were destroyed and/or repossessed by a gate camp.
