Macros suck. Noone will contest this fact but why oh why do we have such an obsticle to keeping them in check as the instadrop sec status system of such harsh penaltys for aggressing players in empire? We the playerbase have taken it upon ourselves to police our economy for the betterment of all by targeting the metagamers and slackers of Eve for swift and justified punishment. Hear our cries of injustice O CCP and halve the sec hit for punishing the unclean of Eve with the rightous fire of our holy aggression upon the unclean.

NO. Stop using false pretenses to get easier targets. You are as false as a the other 100 poster that try to get advantages calling "I use it against macro" "I hunt sewatshop workers".
You simply want an easier time to kill other people in high sec.
Try at least not to be an hypocrite when you ask that.

I'm not the ones hating people because they are "illegitimate". I consider every person in this game a person to be respected and treated with kindness, including racists.
I respect everyone. I just want CCP to respect my right to defend my high sec turf from macro users. Now don't get me wrong i don't target every hulk in sight thats mining in my area as I think high sec ore is anyones game but when they never ever communicate with you and have names like Happy Sky and Glorious Pony you start to have your doubts. Eve is all about teh pvp so let us get the job done ffs.  |

They do and most likey would but other than that tiny blip on the map where the goons were running their little jihad pr stunt suicide ganking is a one of the least common ways to die in Eve. Besides CCP could halve the hit for ship destruction and triple the hit for podding. This would make it very very risky to use smartbombing ships and would force most suiciders into ships you *might* have a chance to tank. It could work.  |

I never get itchy on the trigger finger. If noone responds to local or private convo then I start flipping cans to get a responce. If after all that noone responds its time to break out the anti-macro protocols of which there are many effective recourses with a suicied gank being the last thing I will try due to the harsh sec hit penalty.

To die (being killed while in the pod) sure, to lose a ship, no, it is common.
Pass through Madmillare (SP) near Amarr and you will see that it is costantly gate camped by suicid gankers. You will find several high sec systems with the same situation.
Yes this I know but I said getting your ship turned to dust bunnies by suicide gankers was the least common way for a player to lose his stuff in Eve and not that it never happens. Gatecamp threads are the same way. We get people ranting and raving about them all the time saying what a horrible situation for the good players of Eve to have to deal with and how unfair it all is to honest peace loving haulers just wanting to move thier billions around empire. But in reality gate camps are few and far between and are probably right next to suicide ganking in terms of total ships destroyed. Halving the sec hit won't magically make new gankers appear out of the woodwork to be a new scourge of the spaceways but only make the ones currently doing it last longer before having to go raise thier sec status.
