ANR was formed after a bunch of old guys got bored with the politics of deep space. So four years ago we formed ANR with a simple plan to kick back and generally live the good life in empire.
Over the last few years 'times have changed' and weÆve ended up with circa 100 active members. We cover pretty much all activities within Eve and have pilots from multiple time zones
One constant within ANR has been that our members tend to be on the mature side of the Eve demographic e.g. we're all over 30 years old, with kids etc, with RL constraints.
In terms of age, being old is not considered bad in ANR, in fact old is good, hell, if you are over 60 we will probably make you CEO. (EDIT: We now have two players over 60, neither has been made CEO)
In game we are pretty self sufficient. There is a wealth of industrial activities under way to keep the isk rolling in and players get involved as much as they wish. Our Empire operations are in Amarr space but we are not race specific.
Life in ANR is never dull and the new content flooding into the game keeps us busy. We have the benefits of being in a major alliance which gives us access to expert Fleet Commanders both within Low Sec and 0.0. Note that for some of us PVP is a part time hobby, for others itÆs the main part of the game.
We are an extremely specialized corp that play the game, the way we want and this means it has to fit in with our real lives. If you are a hardcore 23/7 Eve player then ANR is definitely not for you.
In short...... we are a bunch of self sufficient old fellows, banded together into a happy little corp. We just need a few more like minded people and get a bit bigger to keep offices and chat channels busy with chatter
**UPDATED** Current activities fall into two main areas:
1) for the gunslingers
Major 0.0 Fleet Engagements
Round the clock low sec & 0.0 roaming gang pvp
Capital warfare & POS takedowns
2) for the isk makers
Mission running & Exploration
Empire Mining & Ice Harvesting
R&D on multiple high sec towers
Invention & tech II production
Capital module and component manufacture
We have every T1 ship BPO in our Empire HQ which are available to all for personal usage. Most are already researched!!

I was looking on the latest EVE alliance map and I can't find SCA which suprised me somewhat as I always thought they were quite big. Which area of the map are you based in and which alliances are you allied with on the map? :) |

I've just started playing Eve (bought 3 months) and I'm looking for a laid back corp as I'm more of a casual player. With 2 kids (and a wife... it counts ;)), my playtime is not regular. I'm 31 years old and usually play from 00:00 to 04:00 Eve Time (live in EDT). I'd like to give large scale PvP a shot since it seems to be a large part of the game

Looking for another half a dozen hardened pvp pilots (or at least people willing to commit some time to learning about 0.0 pvp operations)
We have recently kicked a large number of inactive players and have a good active player base in all timezones
