There's 3 different standings that affect access to high level agents.
Faction - high standing allows access to all Agents in all Corporations within that specific Faction. Corporation - high standing allows access to all Agents within that specific Corporation. Agent - high standing allows access to that specific Agent.
If any of these 3 standings drop to -2.00 or lower, only level 1 agents can be accessed. If a specific agent standing drops to -2.00 or lower, that specific agent can no longer be accessed.
http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Agent#Agent_Levels
You only need +5.00 or higher standing to access level 4 agents. If using Corporation standing for access, the Faction needs to be above -2.00 standing. Faction standing will over-ride Corporation and Agent standing. However, the Agent and Corporation standing is usually easier to gain. Event Agent missions will quickly increase Faction standing. http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Event_Agents
For access to high level agents, nobody can specify the specific amount of missions needed to complete nor the amount of standing gained due to various factors involved. These factors include:
Agent location = A difference of 0.1 in system security level from 1.0 down to 0.0 translates into a 10% increase in rewards. Agent division = Security, Mining, Distribution, R&D (Security division gives the most standing increase) Agent type = Basic, Factional Warfare, Storyline, Event (Storyline and Event Agents give Agent, Corporation and Faction standing increase) Mission type = Encounter, Mining, Courier (Encounter missions give the most standing) Standings = Higher agent standing gives increased rewards per mission Social skills = Higher level trained reduces the time spent to gain standings
These various Social skills will modify your Agent, Corporation and Faction standings. http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Item_Database:Skills:Social
Connections skill will raise your current positive standings with Empire. (4% per level) Criminal Connections skill will raise your current positive standings with Pirate. (4% per level) Diplomacy skill will raise your current negative standings with all. (4% per level) Social skill will increase the amount of standings gained for completing missions. (5% per level) Negotiation skill will increase mission reward and agent effective standing. (5% per level) Fast Talk skill increases amount of Security Status gained for killing single most highest bounty Pirate NPC every 20 minutes. (5% per level)
Three different skills increase amount of Loyalty Points gained for completing missions per specific Agent Division. (5% per level) http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=909
Security Connections Distribution Connections Mining Connections
Basically you can quickly access high level agents. How fast depends on the factors listed above. Probably the first thing to do is train up the basic social skills at least to level 4:
Social Connections Negotiation
After training those skills, you should be close to or able to access level 3 agents after completing your first storyline offer. A few more storyline offers should give you access to level 4 Agents.

If you dont care about ISK/LP while grinding standings to get to L4... distribution missions are great. They are fast so you can get to the storyline more often. Dull? Yes. But storyline missions have very good standing gains. |

I find having a moderately amusing novelty name helps boost the progression no end.
---- CONCORD arrested two n00bs yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the other was eating fireworks. They charged one and let the other one off. |

Join a high sec mission corp that has access to the lvl 4 agent or NPC corp you want access to. Some will help you grind your standings by running lvl 4 missions with you fleeted. You will eventually gain access to the level 4 agent that they are using. But that's just one of the ways you can go from lvl 1 to lvl 4 agent. |

I agree. Partner up with someone that has Level 4 missions and share the standing increases. You'll have to find someone nice enough to share their missioning with you. Probably a corpmate as the best bet.
I've heard that there are missioning services that offer just this time of thing (will fleet up and grind for you for a fee), but I don't know any first hand. |

havnt personally done that myself.. but 16th mission is or gives you a storyline of the level it was. complete quick fast missions of lower level and as you\re nearing the storyline giver.. do a higher level mission. lets say from lvl 2's to level 3 for a storyline.. higher level storylines boost your standings faster.
there's a good trick in amarr space... running for ministry of internal order and theology council.. in ashab/penirgman they both have much the similar level agents around.. but the trick there is that MIO only giving storylines.. rising MIO standing really really fast. while havning few bad missions and behind a decline timelock.. other corp may give option to not do the bad one but continue there.
for theology there's also station with lvl1, 2, 3 agent in same station and lvl4 agent 1 jump away.. while MIO has storyline and lvl 4 agent in same station...
back in old days when agents had quality these lvl4's were q16 and q17 so it was a missiongrinder sweet spot.. being only 2 jumps from amarr trade hub. |

A storyline mission offer is only gained after completing 16 missions for same level agents within a specific Faction. The Agents can all be from different corporations within that Faction. |

If you want to get corp standing fast make sure the closest storyline agent to where you do your missions is of the same corp because those storyline missions give much more standing than the normal missions.
I once did some missioning on a station with 3 L1 agents and a storyline agent. Never got my standing up so fast. Just accepted all 3 Level1 and then I did blizz them all.
A lot of storyline missions that gave MUCH corpstanding in addition to the faction standing. |

Don't forget that as your standings with one Faction rises, it affects the other three.
If, for example, you mission a lot for Caldari and complete a storyline mission, your Caldari goes up a chunk, your Amarr goes up a bit, your Minmatar goes down a bit and your Gallente goes down a chunk. Think of it as a pair of see-saws at right angles.
If you complete missions that have enemy ships of an opposing non-pirate faction, you will lose large amounts of standings with that enemy Faction. In your case, accepting missions to kill Gallente will drop your Gallente Faction very quickly indeed.
If you later decide to correct those low factions, be prepared for a lot of work and google the Standings Repair Plan. |

I forgot... You also asked about income.
Given a single account and assuming you are still developing your character's core skills (say in the region of 10 to 15 million skill points), you will tend to see a return of between 10 to 20 million isk an hour.
As your skills improve and you reinvest some of that isk in better modules, you will get through the missions faster. A well-skilled Tech 1 battleship pilot will be able to bring in 20 to 30 million an hour.
Once you get to Tech 2 ships or Strategic Cruisers, you should be anywhere in the region of 30+ million an hour.
If you add a second account or have a very well skilled character indeed, you may reach figures of 60 million isk an hour which is about the highest figure I have seen mentioned. There will always be optimal ways of getting more of course.
If you need even more isk than that, read up on Incursions (before they get changed). |
