To Bob, congratulations, but why dirty your victory with falsehoods? To claim you came looking for a fight when in fact you ambushed us alarm clock style with 6 times our numbers (450+ vs. 80) is well... dishonest. In fact your entire strategy was to dodge the fight until you had minimum 4 to 1 odds in your favor. In my 4 months in PB I have never seen Bob engage outnumbered, or even against equal numbers. Perhaps to many low quality ex-pets in your gangs these days, which explains the Goonswarm tactics. As a pilot who has made it his business to engage outnumbered I found this strange from the so called "elite". Win how you feel like you need to I guess. Again, grats on victory.
I wasn't an alarm clock op, we had the fleet that had just taken H74 with no resistance. We were bored and there was nothing to do so we hit 1-n with the hope that over the coming days u guys would fight like demons with nothing to loose. Sadly that didn't happen. If you had 400 people in a fleet wanting something to do would you tell them they can't come?
To take the point about not fighting outnumbered frankly where the hell have you been for the last year. As for your 4 monts in pure blind, a quick look at your stats and we see that you wern't that active on the frontlines at all. Leave the smack out of it if it has no basis in truth.
However farewell MC you were always among the best in eve its a shame to see you go out without a bang.
It's not smack, my apologies if you interpreted it as such. It's in fact what I deemed necessary to counter what I saw as smack. Too many Bob pilots crowing about wanting a fight when you used tactics designed to insure no fight happened. It is a fact that Bob attacked 1-n at approx 3:00 am U.S. time is it not? that's certainly "alarm clock style" so point validated. It is a fact that we had a substantial (200 or so) fleet in 1-n yet you waited 'til we went to bed to attack - so fight dodging point validated. Again, congratulations on your win.

I dont think you know what an alarm clock op is.... its when you ask your alliance members to wake up at 4/5am in the morning to kill a POS coming out of reinforced.
We just moved on to N-1 from H74 when we didnt get any resistance from MC. There were no alarm clocks involved and trust me if I had known that we were going for 1-N that night i would not have logged off for bed after H74 was done. It was just what was still left of our fleet from H74 that attacked N-1.

This infact kind of wrong. Period Basis were the homebase and safehaven of Tortugan, regarless of the amount the hostile bringing in, tortugan are suppose to fight. Witheld any defensive stands in H74 are understandable, but now we see 1-NJ (sov4 const of MC) as the fall of the whole tortugan and now the total colapse of the tortuga idea without a single proper fleet fights, claiming whatever amount you have earlier and then not having it later invalidates all your claims.
Nevertheless, good luck to all MC pilots.

Apologies if it wasn't meant as smack. However we do have a US TZ part of the alliance which is capable of producing some nice numbers and a EU TZ that wanted to keep on playing.
The point about the 200 man fleet in 1-n that we avoided correct me if im wrong but im sure i stated we had a system to take (H74), Once the objective was complete we moved on, It was your system to defend why would we go looking for you fleet when you knew exactally where we would be and when. There was however reports of a goon gang and an MC gang both approaching h74 which eventually turned round and went home. Despite the fact we left the jump bridge alone in the neighbouring system to make it easier for you guys to counter attack.
Tbh if we fight dodged we wouldent have an alliance left its what we live for.

I have seen this coming since MC started playing it big style..
MC gave people exactly what they wanted for their isk..Extremly skilled pilots with reputations going back to 2003 and good leadership..They did well on the PR side and even tho i wasn`t impressed with individual skills the times we fought they were a damn good team when coming together..
But that is also the problem..The noobs that MC wiped the floor with last year have caught up with them isk wise.. Still far behind in skills and pvp knowledge but far ahead in numbers they can stand up to MC attacks..
I remember MC being formed and even tho we had our conflicts it is a shame that they disband..Another evidence on which direction Eve is taking..

I hate posting all the quotes so I'll abstain:
Granted, you guys really caught us off guard with that fleet move, and Bobs dedication to simply keep online for that many hours deserves much recognition. You guys saw an opportunity and took it, but it was a tactic designed to ensure no fight, you knew what we had, and when we logged off. Certainly the Bob pilots complaining about no fight know what their superiors would say if they simply undocked to give the enemy killmails when the enemy had 6 to 1 superiority. to continually crow about no fight when you know not fighting was the smart thing to do is silly. I appreciate the flame free response.

Sorry to see the MC flag fold. It was an honour and pleasure to fly with you and the rest of the Tortugan pilots. With all the underhanded tactics, forum wars and general meta-gaming that go on in the game today it was refreshing to fly with honest pilots.
