Ship Speed. /Bigger Universe
I think that it would be good to make the difference in ships more pronounced, speed wise. Things were alot bigger pre-wtz era, and i would like for eve to have that 'big and lonely' feeling again. I think that the warp speed of all ships should be reduced, and more pronounced. And be more reflective of thier roles.
I think that small ships should be able to respond faster , and be more mobile(better time/range), while lacking power. Cruisers should provide more power, but sacrifice mobility. And that bs should have more power, but have restricted movement.

Space only feels so small because most systems only consist of jump-in, warp to stargate, jump-out. If there was actually a reason to stay around a system and explore it for a few hours space would feel so much more vast.
Forcing the players to look at the warp tunnel for a longer time only makes space feel more boring and not bigger. -------- Ideas for: Mining Clouds

It not that its that people can move around alot faster, because of this alliances can hold alot more space. Because someone can only claim as much space as they can effectively control.
And in this sense effectively control means as far as you can get a gang to the location in a reasonable amount of time. Being able to get a gang through alot of space quickly means that you can effectively hold alot more space.
Now as far as more stuff to do i cant think of much more ccp can reasonably add without making each system too valauble |

theres a few areas where connections could be boosted. Aridia for example ombil constellation could be linked with syndicate space and open up that area which is dead most times. Southern low sec could be expanded and linked with CVA and goonies space. More calderi low sec theres areas of the game from a tactical and stragetigc sense the devs could initate. |

Low-sec needs to be bigger, makes it a little less of a deathtrap and makes the transition between 0.0 and Highsec a little smoother, might also help getting some people into low-sec. |

So, you want to make AFK/AP-flying more common? Ships are already slow enough. Make them even slower and you'll get MORE "space is too small" threads, because travelling will cost you so much time it's better not to travel at all. -------------------------------------------------- I'm a rich person. IMO, Its big enough.
Get out into some areas and you'll go through a spot where your ship is the only one thats been through that day.
Its big, It just doesnt feel big. Travelling around the vast areas of EVE is damn near impossible without the aid of a Cov Ops ship and a trusty MWD. The advent of heavy dictors on gates has made low sec realistically dangerous, but also annoyingly tedious.

Its not big if it doesnt feel big imo, you have have unlimited amounts of traversbale space, but if the activity only takes part on a very small area. Its not really that big.
In reality the amount of time it takes to do something has more to do with size than the actual measurements.
For example, if you are on foot a football stadium seems pretty big right? How big does it seem if you are in a car, or if you are in a plane? Not very big right?
You can even say the eve universe in infinetly large, but it doesn't matter if you can move throughout it quickly.
I dont like the idea of staring at the inside of a warp tunnel more than anyone else. But i do agree that space should appear bigger, and that means that it should take more time to traverse it.
Maybe ccp can come up with something better, maybe something to do whilst traveling, other than look at the inside of a warp tunnel.

They will add more space with the upcomming update this summer. Dunno if this for faction warfare only. I do hope with this it also means that they will introduce more agents. |

Add lowsec borders between empire - you suddenly get 4 times bigger empire space! :) Four economically separate highsec clusters rather then just one big sea of highsec systems where you can get everywhere with AFK autopilot (AFK autopilot means I can get everywhere in 30 seconds of playing).

Bigger Universe? Yes! We are far more players, so there should be far more space. Besides that some moon minerals are already "running out" because there are more people requiring it then have moons producing it, which gives these moon owners some kind of monopoly (which creates an inflation of ALL things in EVE).
Reduced Warp Speed? NO! I already need 2.5h for one direction with my frighter every week - that is already far too much! Zyrus

The solution is simple. Remove warp to zero capability.
Size of space isn't a number of AU, or a number of jumps. It's about travel time.
Before instas were discovered (and perhaps after, too - after all, you needed to plan the trip still) it took a long time to cross the galaxy. -- Crane needs more grid 249km locking? |

more regions/systems. as eve gets fuller the universe needs to get bigger or every system in 0.0 and closer to empire is going to be populated or at the very least have an ISK farmer in it.
more space CCP please

The eve universe is far to small now. When i first started playing eve there was only 10,000 players, now there is 40,000 with only the drone region added to the universe. We dont need new ships or fancy graphics what we need is for the eve universe to double in size.

Solar systems are rather dull in eve. You can warp to one planet or another and you will see different discs of varying colour. This really needs to improve. Flying around a solar system should be fascinating.
