Usually, you might have a few caps lost in a cap fleet "skirmish" but nothing too serious. This is the first time I have ever seen a prolonged fight that I could honestly call a cap fleet "battle." It was two huge fleets of dreads, carriers, and support ships just slugging it out for as long as they could. I've already replaced my carrier, and I know several others either had backup capital ships or have acquired new ones. Heres to SMACKFIX and SOLAR, and the next great cap fight. Well done guys, and excellent fighting!! If you hold a unix shell up to your ear, can you still hear the c: ?

Those aren't typos. The capital ship builders in empire and the various alliances are probably licking their lips at all of that. Heard it was a great fight with people having a great time, our forums are abuzz with 'damn that was awesome' and the like. People ENJOYING a good fight for a change, imagine that. I also agree above with gran, we were due to lose some caps. But like almost all of us here say "why the he would you have an awesome weapon if your not going to use it, and maybe lose it!" I'm extremely proud of my corpies and alliance mates, they went in and showed that our side is willing to go the distance. I ♥ Atlas. I also ♥ SACKFIX or whatever were calling ourselves now.
