 Nice one CCP, you have finally seen sense. By reducing the amount of sentries in 0.4-0.1 to 2 guns you hve enabled me and my corpmates to recommece the slaughter, that was somewhat curtailed by the over reaction to the zombie incident. I would also like to thank all the carebears for all their hard whining. Your constant whinging forced ccp to change sentries to 150km. Now it is time to reap what you have sown. The seeds of your own destruction that you have so effectivly sown and nutured, are now starting to grow into murderous vines that will choke the life out of you. I look forward to thanking each one of you carebears in person.

wasn't it a few stations which had 4 guns, and doesn't/didn't all gates only have 2 guns? not tht i am shouting off about all this, saying i'll be slaughtering ppl in a system with...... errrr... the same number of guns?

The amount of senrry guns was raised to 4 around gate sbut then they reduced it back to 2 guns. at least in my area of space

I've killed +10 bs by locking people infront of sentry guns, only problem is that they only drop crap loot. Some warp away but don't turn of the autopilot, that's so I can get all those juicy no name 425 railguns. A typical carebear module.

Although I agree that some people do seem to worry too much about pvp action etc. I do belive that the pvp pirates need to consider the newer players.
Call me a carebear all you want, I'm just being a good sport :)
Only go for the people looking for it.
Oh and the pirates who ask for a ransom, then destroy them anyway are just taking the **** if you ask me.

I'm going by what is posted on these very forums.
Perhaps you are one since you appear to be such an uptight **** about it?
Why on earth do I need proof? there is another thread somewhere posted buy a new comer to the game who complains of someome stealing his ore, which he and his partner mined for, for a long time. Many have agreed that was out of order.

I can go ahead and verify that there are plenty of people spoiling for a good PvP fight, fleet battle, whatever in 0.0 space every day. The piddies (pirate+kiddies, oh well I took a swing at the new term challenge and failed) who insist on "hunting" their prey in empire space do so only to kill players weaker than themselves from all I can gather and have done so for quite some time. Again, only going by what I've seen and the players I've been exposed to.
The funny thing is, gate camping empire space IS WITHOUT DOUBT the pirate equivelant of strip mining Veldspar. Do you honestly... I mean HONESTLY think anyone with A) the resources; B) the need to have valuable rare modules will A) be caught by an empire gate campe; B) not kill you first? This is where all of the "you ran to station and hid" talk comes from.
I've said too much, ah well I was bored. Don't gloat about your ability to camp an empire space gate. It just makes others laugh at you... unless you _like_ being laughed at...

nice post S3VYN. Hanging round in 0.0 I have seen a few pirates and even though I try to kill them everytime I have respect for them.
At the very least they are putting their ships, clones, mods, implants etc. on the line to do what they do. So if they manage to get me in 0.0 Im more than happy to admit im beaten.
On the other hand the whining carebear pirates who whine about sentry guns and concord and stuff are just funny. They not even worth the waste of ammo in most cases.
Ps. cya around pure blind nervar. Maybe we get to fight sometime.

What a spaz...most if not all the experienced PVP players I know that use 425s use the plain janes. No need to blow all that isk on named guns because if you pvp much at all you will lose ships plain and simple. I do plenty damage with 6 reg 425s...I use named launchers but they are cheap.

The fact of staying in empire to kill players makes you a sociopath carebear.If you want to pvp come into one of the regional alliances territory ,they will give you a warm welcome.

I dont think somone with rare mods etc could kill a guy at a empire gate, when the camping guy has support ships giving him shield. its nearly impossible to kill

Why im so uptight about it... Well cause, Yes im a pirate and yes we are known to toll players, and the only thing i have is my word, when people like you talk crap about us pirates our source off inncome, gets nerfed cause nobody wants to pay.
They think we will blown them up annyway, so we are pretty much forced to use violence when things could have been solved diffrently.
Also if you happen to come over ""pirate"" that tolls you and blows you up: NAme him and watch hes rep go down inn flames, he wil most likely become an outcast amongst thieves.

I agree...pirates that toll have their word only. I think you will find most pirates that have any brains will not go back on their word if they toll people.
Personally I find many pilots that choose to log off to save their ships instead of just paying. I find this as reprehensible as pirates that toll someone, get the cash, and then destroy them. Both are pretty lame, but the bonus is that 9 out of 10 ships that log off lose their ship and pod anyway. :)

As funny as that sounds I disagree. Sentry tanking in empire is by far the most profitable way to pirate. Thats where indys are moving the most valuable items for all you dummies (Mega, zyd and bp's) And thats where people arent afraid to sport their most valuable equipment. How can you pirate in empire space? If they target lock you, you run away - if they fire at you first, then CONCORD destroys them - if they EW you, then CONCORD destroys them.
