Don't believe the people who claim that it is normal to have hundreds of billions of ISK in your wallet:

ANyways, how "wealthy" you are depends on what you do in EVE. If you fly rifters, then a couple hundred million ISK is definitely wealthy
If you fly battleships then a couple billion ISK is wealthy
If you fly capital ships then a couple dozen billion ISK is wealthy
If you fly super caps then several hundred billion ISK is wealthy
ANd if you are a trader, 1+ trillion ISK is wealthy. |

As has been said, wealth is relative to what you're doing with it. Personally, I've never really seen the point of grinding ISK beyond what I needed it for, but for a lot of people in EvE making money is an end in itself.

Though you could argue that SP is likley more valuable.
Wont show assests of course or corporation/alliance wealth.
And in an attempt to try and do a carebear hug, the ultimate wealth is of course all your freinds ... erm ... people you choose to fly with ..... ok, frenemies.

Never had more than 2 Billion isk, and I never felt poor. Always had enough/the right ships for my kind of PvP, always had somethingt to isk/pve in when the mood struck, and never had to skip a fleet for inabillity to have a ship. Probably helps that I've avoided caps because of screwcapsonline.
If need arose, could buy PLEX, but need is pretty rare these days. |
