A sad end to the alliance, much like MC's demise with some bad decisions made towards it's end. But it's star was bright while it lasted. Good luck in the future Dark.

Doom and Dorm, you guys carried the Tri alliance on your shoulders while the "l33t cool kids" ****ed on you. I belive there is a large silent majority that realizes what must be done to hold space. POS work, logistics, build caps, fly caps, x up, build stations, etc. And only a really great corp can do it all at once.
Both Dorm and Doom are that kind of great corps.
loooooooool
I rest my case.
Remember this quote.
Seriously, for spaceholding to work them Counterstrike kiddies has to go. You need people who respect and understand the necessity of having someone handling that pos bull**** and the logistics involved. Now i dont know GD let alone why they all hate him. But seriously, PVP comes with carebearing if you want to keep on doing it.

Originally by: Darknesss What to say reallyà I always knew that it would eventually happen and I always knew that when it did it would never be pleasant or the glorious death that every alliance wishes and hopes for. Triumvirate. Was formed nearly two years ago and I never expected it to get to where it is today or indeed last as long as it has. It has now got to the point where for the sake of our own corporations, members and ourselves we need to close the door.
Some people will no doubt come to their own conclusions as to why TRI is closing, the truth is there is no single answer. I believe that no matter what decision was made before the 3 corps leaving we would have eventually fallen apart one way or another, whether it be due to disagreements or whether a similar turn of events would have sucked the life out of those in charge of TRI taking away their will to play this game. When this happens it filters down to members, they start to lose hope or their own will to play. Our objective to help Insurgency was a last ditch attempt to get that spark back and we knew it would either result in a more refined TRI that myself and the other CEOÆs sought or a TRI drained and tired that would need to be closed.
We knew exactly what we were walking into when we entered that war, we knew the numbers involved and we knew the risks, but we felt it was necessary. Right or wrong, agree or disagree thatÆs what the leadership felt needed to be done. Our own internal problems were too much to be repaired even by a war of this scale.
It has been fantastically satisfying to watch the rise of TRI and I believe that for a lone alliance in our prime we were up there with the top alliances like BoB and RA in strength and skill. I cannot thank the corporations and members who have trusted and worked with me enough, its been a pleasure to fly with everyone in TRI.
To those alts and people undoubtedly about to attack this thread with abuse, I told you soÆs and karma remarks, life goes on, every alliance has a sell by date and if the people in TRI are guilty of anything its giving its trying to give it one last shot. We failed to get that spark back and rather than dissolve slowly and painfully we have decided to end it ourselves quickly.
Dark
Good luck guys, I've fought you guys a lot...good opponents...I hate how people will post here with nothing but negative things to say...shows a lot about their character that they hide under an alt post. Good luck.

No, you weren't.
Were you even a member of illuminati when they was in tri? No offence but i dont think you can realy comment onhow good tri was when it was at its strongest
RA and BoB at their height each controlled more than seven regions.
Triumvirate controlled three at it's height.
There's no comparison.

This is DORM's plan when **** hits the fan: move all of their assets into their only station and negotiate their way into a new alliance. That's not a corporation that should be part of an alliance. Corporations are suppose to work together an an entity to accomplish what the individual can not.
DORM have a history as long as my arm of doing this, and I can't understand why people cut them slack. They use alliances for their own gain - look at the ships GD flies, or the amount of motherships they have compared to the other corps in TRI.
Also, your theory about CS kiddies having to go to be a sucessful space-holding alliance is obviously false because the CS kiddies left and a month later the alliance is dead.
QED.

ROFL! Yeah, there was never any fighting in the north until you guys started camping EC and Aunennen. You aren't that special, and the fact that your alliance died so suddenly, proves it. |

o7
I will always remember tri up to the point we left, from stamping a claim on geminate (well as much as can be done in npc region) to rolling fade and the You What campaign, and am proud that i played even a tiny role to helping achive what tri did. But i will always have a bitter taste how the politics ended messing things up and ultimatly lead to tri's down fall.
To all the good pilots in the alliance that i flew with i salute you, hope to see you in space.
final thought karma.
