I remember when we smahed alliances like Sparta and Youwhat and it was by far the best alliance I had ever been in. Its a shame Isk can corrupt such great things but I suppose thats how it goes. It has been fantastically satisfying to watch the rise of TRI and I believe that for a lone alliance in our prime we were up there with the top alliances like BoB and RA in strength and skill. I cannot thank the corporations and members who have trusted and worked with me enough, its been a pleasure to fly with everyone in TRI. To those alts and people undoubtedly about to attack this thread with abuse, I told you soÆs and karma remarks, life goes on, every alliance has a sell by date and if the people in TRI are guilty of anything its giving its trying to give it one last shot. We failed to get that spark back and rather than dissolve slowly and painfully we have decided to end it ourselves quickly. The failure of such a group actually makes me rethink if the game is worth it. The vast majority of those posting here respecting their efforts makes me think it might be worth it. But the few 'selfish' players preening themselves about how much better they are really makes the game pointless and really they do not get how real sportsmen should respond. I am still new to this game and learned more of team work with them and alliances associated with them. And no alliance can survive without good team work that can trust each other. We will all miss Tri, even the baboons who say otherwise.

We pretty much seemed to get to a point where it was like "what now" We couldn't claim more space, we had already given 1 region away. We could not manage to have more space and had we taken space and rented it out. Then we would just have more blue surrounding us. We were trying to get fights not ruin every chance we could have to get fights. To get a really good fight (for a long time now due to NC in war vs bob then insurge) we would have to travel all the way to drone regions and that was a fair trek. Basicly we reached our peak. Without trying to bloat the alliance out with even more numbers we could do little more to improve ourselves as an alliance. We maybe could have taken it forward, had dark stayed leader I am sure we would still be there now. He had the forsight to take a step back and look at his own corp and ask himself 'is this alliance worth potentially ruining our corp and everyone elses corps over?' end answer is a painful no, so alliance is being closed down. ---------- Your signature is too large.
