I think the problem is the strongest of the Tri corps don't want to be stuck in deep space and be involved in POS warfare. I wouldn't be surprised to see an elements out of Tri like VSQ join with Insurgency and perhaps Destiny and PA who have a similar mindset. The last thing you want for those that enjoy smaller scale PvP is to be stuck in deep space away from a lot of traffic that isn't totally united against you. There are some regions of npc space where anarchy reigns supreme and those are pretty good places for small scale warfare without having to worry about massive POS warfare. I think the corps post aftermath will either survive or die based on if they can get their members doing what they enjoy doing. For some the best thing will be to walk away from what they have been doing for a while, perhaps for others it will be to join with a large third party that wants to move in.
