And again the question is have you been on MD for the last 3+ years?Been like that since then.Also the amount of scams would be significantly higher OR the chance of filling a bond significantly lower.
You know what would happen if you take the bond/loan offers out? DEAD MD and nothing more.You'll see the same threads on first page without a response for 3+ days all the time.
In short you'd kill the loans and forums in one shot with your proposal.As said before start a topic with a discussion you feel worthy of MD rather then complain a lack of them.
Complaining about something is easy , contributing to the solution of that problem on the other hand ....

Lol at the ps this is a game.I ain't the one complaining how my forum is not filtered from X or Y.Ever noticed how much posts and threads there are created on a normal daily MD day?Just enough to cover the first page on a good day with fresh posts.
So again , i see complains but i still don't see any new thread relating to what you or others who prefer the split call a usefull market discussion.Go on ... make the thread and maybe make the change.And once we have enough ''good discussions market related'' going on we can start talking about removing the loans.Till that time removing them serves no purpose what so ever appart from showing just how dead the MD is without those loan threads.

Another day , another person asking for loans to be moved .... and still no MD worthy thread started by those in favour of moving the loans out.
I won't give up hope though , tomorrow will be a different day .... you just watch .... change , change is gonna come. |

And yet you prove what i said above by making your next MD post a bond one.Not an iskloan but stated by yourself as a bond and as such making it once more obvious that those who favour of moving the bonds/loans out are not trying to make the change as to make Md worth it to move those threads out.THAT is what annoyes the hell out of me.It's like making a thread saying 'Hey CCP i want empire to be fully safe from any suicidegankers' and then right after it i take out my smartbomb rokh and gank on the perimeter gate.If you want the change you work for making it happen.
Unlike what you think i would LOVE it they where seperate IF the MD forum had much more to offer but it does not. |

The number of posts and threads made is a LOT lower then it used to be.That offcourse goes for all the forums , just look at CAOD and crime and punishment.As such these days IF you would create a topic worth reading as you state it would be much more visible and stay visible for a longer time then it used to.
I looked at the old MD posts yesterday and what i noticed was a lot of the posts between 2004 and 2007 contained stuff wich allready IS removed from MD.Sales of ships etc in 2004 was posted here as such there was a WTS/WTB forum created.There was a lot of discussion going on in regards to industry etc wich now is being posting in it's own forum.
What i am trying to say is that besides that old days allways look better in our views usually , the MD also contained posts wich where moved to other sub forums on demand.As such moving out the loans will indeed make MD pure and clear but in my believe it will also be the final blow the MD forum needs to become obsolete.
Would CCP see the need in having a subforum wich only has a handfull of posts on a weekly base is the key question. |
