up and running

The project was started by Digital Emperor, he had a hard time to get the comunity interested and placed the first adds. Due to limited RL time he had to pass his project on. I will do my best to bring it to the next level. There have been some changes and adjustments, but see yourself.
What's the purpose of the pixelpage? You may ask.
The idea is to create a poster-sized webpage where each and every EVE-pilot can place an add and link it to his favorite webpage.
I have enlarged the EVE-pixelpage from former 1000x1000 pixels to 1476x2066 pixels, you can place more and larger pictures.
What does it cost to put my add onto the pixelpage?
It's for free so long your add does not exceed 1600 pixels.
Every pilot can place only ONE add. Larger sizes have increasing prices which can be visualized here: price-chart.
How do i determine size and pixels of my image?
You right click your picture and choose view in your favorite webbrowser. Now you can see the web-size it will appear on the pixelpage. To get the accurate dimensions you click "Edit" -> "Properties/Attributes"

EVE-Pixelpage_linky
EVE-pixelpage is a web-version. Its optimised for web and therefore prints only very small size (you won't be able to read any letters). A high resolution printable version (300dpi) of 50cm*70cm or 19 3/4*27 1/2" is beeing built up at same time. Make sure you submit a high resolution PSD or otherwise not optimised version of your add if you have one available.
I am interested, what now?
Once you have choosen your picture you want to place. You post a link to it, a URL of your favorite webpage it should link to, a "mouseover" info and where it shall be placed on the pixelpage. If it exceeds 1600 pixels, you will receive an evemail and you will be put on the "pending list". You have three days to transmit isk into my account.
I want to buy pixel-space but i don't have an add ready to be placed?
You can buy pixel-space and summit the picture and link later. A placeholder will be put onto the pixelpage to show your space as claimed. You will be added to the unclaimed pixel list and have three months to get your add sorted. If you don't use your pixel-space within a month. Your pixelspace will be available again, no refound.
Pixelspace can be traded, sold, split (in smaller areas)... do whatever you like, though it does not enlarge the three month.
I don't want my pixelspace anymore!
We don't buy them back, but you can sell your pixels. Evemail ingame to Effei Gloom from the character who sold the pixels and name of new owner.
If you need a secure trade, I will gladly do it:
a)Seller evemails with info (char he sold to + price + 10% fee)
b)Buyer evemails with info (char he bought from) and deposits isk into my account + 10% fee
c)Buyer will receive evemail "trade complete"
d)Seller receives evemail "trade complete" + isk
I need changes to my add, url or mouseover!
Linked URL or mouseover change: 0.5mill
Picture swap: 1000isk/pixel

Pixelpage-Project is buying your signature and biospace!
You have been active on eve-o forum, your char is not on trail account and you have acquired pixels. (Be it for free, isk or trade...) I buy your signature space!
You post here and announce that you want to sell your siganture space. You will receive an evemail with the signature info you have to put into your forum-character-settings. I will decide to buy your space after checking:
- your new signature
- your forum history via "character picture click"
- ingame info about character creation date
You will receive an evemail with "accepted/rejected".
Accepted means I will deposit 5mill isk into your account.
Same applies to your biography space, you can choose any text you like but it should contain an out of game link to either to this post or the pixelpage itself. Your character info should be older than a month and show some standings. Price: 1mill isk.
If you delete/change your settings within 6 month, your acquired pixels will be deleted.
Pixelpage will be updated at least once every week.

I recall this idea a few years ago, a uk student got rich from it. Its not really a new idea nor original in the sense of eve theirs been many copies of it. However good luck with it. And can you please credit the original creator of the pixel idea, id hate for his idea to go un-noted.
