Battlestars is a 4 year established corporation, which has a great core of old and young players. We are a very tight group of players, an online family, and for the first time in awhile are now opening our doors to accept 50 more members of the eve community.
We are currently looking for matured players, to join our Great Corporation and family. We are a balanced organization of both PvP & industrials, with a focus on PvP. We are 90% U.S. time zone ranging from east coast to west coast. Euro players are not excluded from the application process. WeÆre looking for Team players who can do PvP/Industrial or both with a willingness to fight & have fun.

òAccepting both Individual & Corp mergers (Ask for details)
òLooking for active Eve players NOT once a month weekend warriors.
òMust be respectful to both corp & corp mates (sometimes )
Things you should know:
òWe have a 5mil isk character tax per month.
òThis is killing 5 NPC spawns which can be done in 20min & gives you access to 7 regions to pretty much do as you please. Money is used for both POS fuel & BPO purchases.
òWe have our own refine station which has a 50% base return on refines 100% with skills.

 Its only 5 mill / month , thats a couple of BS rat spawns, big deal, I reckon thats not hard especially considering who it is your joining, one of the biggest most well known alliances in EVE, its Goons man.
Good luck with the recruitment, not that I think you will need it.

Answer: The tax is used to help corp pay for all those POS's you will have access to do ME/PE research/copying & manufacture off our BPO's along with a ton of other perks that come with the corp. This money is re-invested in the corp for items purchased for member use. 5mil per month for the opprotunity to make 500 mill+ per month, not a bad trade off. I have guys making upto a billion isk a day, wish I was one of them, but the opprotunity is there. I'm not asking for cash up front, I'm not saying, give me your carrier & you can join. Hell I'm not even asking you to out right trust me. What I am asking is give me the opprotunity to trust you & you me. This is not a scam, it's a genuine recruitment drive where I'm looking for 50 good people to help grow my corp. We have plenty of active helpful players & deliver a team oriented atmospher.

Answer: It's a big arse alliance & yes you'll have to deal with a few jackasses here & there. We do have our own channel within TS. Question is, is there any alliance out there that doesn't have a few sour apples or even one in each corp? Nothing is perfect, some people you just have to deal with. Nothing wrong with being in one of the Biggest most well known alliances in game.

Question about Battlestars,
Pretty much n00b when it comes to Eve, but I've been around for a great many MMO's (UO - WoW [don't fault me here I tried it but got bored]).
As such, I fulfill all the qualifications for joining minus the 6 mil. SP. I was curious if this is waiverable? I'm pretty decently specc'd and should have Cruisers III by tonight at which point I need to decide which way to take my thus far mission only oriented character (Industrial, Mining, 0.0 ratting).
I am actually looking for a corp to join (of course, right now I'm at work) so I was just wondering. I'm not sure if these forums are monitored throughout the day but I'll be checking back, otherwise I'll contact through Eve later tonight.

At this time, Battlestars is not accepting applications with lower than 6mil SP unless vouched for and is a friend of a current corp mate. This is simply due to the fact we want our members to have at least a small grasp of the eve universe without relying on us for answers to many earlier questions.

I'd suggest reading our recruitment post more carefully. BTLS requires no up front payment, we do NOT move your assets for you. Recruits are in full control of their assets & are free to move into our area at a time of their choosing. This is a legitimate recruitment drive.

i'm interested. but i had a bad experience a couple of months ago when trying to join another goonswarm corp. they said they needed a 50m deposit and when i paid it the recruiter said "we dont accept spies into....." cut the channel and blocked me. whats to keep somthing like that from happening if i try to join Battlestars?
