Crow sucks, simple as that.
Out of curiosity why do you think this?

this post shows you have no clue about crows =)
+ of crows: they don't have to worry about transversal they drop good loot
- of crows: DPS is lol at higher speeds (6km/s+) every beamsader/railranis will be hitting harder than you with your missiles it's made of paper it's DPS is lol (did i say that already?)
for solo inty i'd say: beamsader/railranis for anti-frig, blasteranis for balls to the walls & right in your face fun ___________________

Dps isn't THAT bad, I got 70 dps out of mine (could probably get higher with better skills/fitting, which isn't that bad compared to long range intys, at longer range than any other inty can dream of hitting.
At higher speeds you will be able to dodge out of scram range of every beam sader and railranis which makes this point completely null.
It has just as much hp as every other speed fit ceptor so not much point in mentioning that.
Refer to my first point.
As before solo I'd say crow or malediction. Both will rip through any frig (well all the ones that the other ceptors could kill at least) and neither has to worry about transversal.

Originally by: Makender I dual-box and was wondering if there were any suggestions, along the lines of this thread, for two-character-soloing. Both are Caldari and while one character is geared towards fighting the other is more given to mining/refining/researching. Any specific advice would be appreciated. :D
Falcon any anything else. Drake probably. -- Crane needs more grid 249km locking? |

Edited by: Captain Falcord on 25/05/2008 18:37:06 Edited by: Captain Falcord on 25/05/2008 18:36:44 I would say
-Frig: Rifter -Cruiser: Rupture. Not only it's a monster when pimped (check lanu and garmon vids for that) but it's also noob-friendly. I just jumped into mine with 3m SP and I'm doing great. -BC: Hurricane: Yes, I am a minmatar lover, I simply love this ship. It's perfect. -Inty: Crow is COOL. Not best maybe, but cool, go for it if you like it :P. -BS: Machariel? ^^ (By far the coolest)

Edited by: Derek Sigres on 25/05/2008 18:49:12 I think the question is fantastically hard to answer, but nevertheless I'll give it a try.
Frigate - It's a tie between the Rifter and the Punisher. The Rifter gains most of it's fame through being an effective tackler while the Punisher gained fame for it's bleeder configuration. Either ship would be a match for most frigates.
Cruiser - Thorax or Arbitor. Both ships can pump out stout levels of DPS (though the Thorax will almost certainly win in terms of pure gank) but the Arbitor has EWAR and mid ranged guns up it's sleeve. In fact, the Arbitor is the ONLY ewar vessel where I consider it's guns and drones to be more than just a show.
Battlecruiser - Drake. People laugh at such an assertion but with an easily attainable 600+ dps with good skills and a thick buffer, a HAM Drake is no longer a laughing stock when it comes to DPS delivery. The ability to deliver this pain out to a longer distance than most of it's peers counts for something too, and don't forget that even a buffer shield tank still benefits from the fast recharge of the battlecruiser class. It's perhaps one of the ONLY caldari ships that can solo it's own class of ship effectively because it actually has room for the basics of tackle.

Well, since I am going for Gallente Inties, I will have Minnie Frig 4 and Gallente Frig 5. I really like the look of the Tristan for cheap anti-frigate (noob gank ship) warfare. Seems like it has a great number of slots and can also hold one drone.
I haven't seen anyone else mention the Tristan. Put two blasters and two rockets on it and a T2 scout drone. Seems like the damage would be respectable for a Frigate.

Originally by: Scots Crusader Jadyn, as you can tell everyone will have a different opinion as to best/worst. IMHO, there is no best/worst there is only ships YOU enjoy flying. You will develope a style that suits you and thus ships you prefer to fly, go with this.
The whole "train for X race as it is FOTM" is rubbish. All races have something going for them, all have ships that are good, you just need to develope your style and go with it.
