Anyone else come across this?
I did a search on eve.explorer for 'Event' agents for Amarr Empire - got a handful and headed off to visit the nearest .... was given a quicky 5 jump courier [tiny m3] and when completed, was advised to speak to the agent in the station I arrived at - another Event agent ..
Again - quick courier, destination station has another of the Event agents in .... etc etc, repeated this 5 or 6 times only to turn up at the station I started at and was advised to talk to the initial agent - who when asked, offered me the first mission once again :D
OK - so the standing rewards aren't fantastic, but one of the missions did give a faction bonus, and the whole cycle only needs a frigate-sized cargo and 30 minutes tops to complete ...
Is this supposed to happen ?

Yes. Its multipart-storyline mission. Parts 1-x give only rewards + corp boost. Last part gives also faction boost (actually only last one is called "storyline").

I don't think event agents are supposed to loop, could be a bug. I had an event agent like that a long time ago in Amarr space when i was a newbie and after a long chain i ended up at the initial agent only for him to offer the same chain over again. I declined it at the time so i am not sure what would have happened or if I would have got the standings gains all over again. Other event agents I have used have stopped and they just say sorry I have no work for you. I believe that is how they are supposed to work, once only offers.

I actually think this is supposed to happen. Pay attention to the actual storyline, it loops itself. One of the amarrian agents working out of youl has you send a group of soldiers to the front, the rest of the loop is getting equipment for new soldiers, concluding with the shipping out of another batch of soldiers by the initial agent and the restarting of the loop.

This happened with the Gallente event agent the only time I used one.

each race has an event courier set like that, they're pretty much worthless, crappy rewards, doesn't increment counter to storyline, etc.

think its just there to give the noobs some easy isk to buy a frigate other than the noob ship
