We've seen the top Must Do things in EVE, how about a top 10 Must NOT do things in EVE.
Note, I can think of a million things not to do in EVE, I'm looking for reasonable, believable, and legit answers.
10. Engage in a smack-talk competition with brainless locals
9. Mess with the Russians in CURSE
8. Get on either side of the BOB/Anti-BOB debate
7. Confine one-self to empire
6. Confine one-self to 0.0
5. Be complacent in low sec
4. Grief (sorry privateers!)
3. Take +4 or +5 implants out of empire
2. Get ganked with a hull full of valuable bpos.
1. Pick a fight with space junk and get CONCORDED

1 - stay in a NPC corp
2 - stay in a crappy corp
3 - stay in a crappy alliance
4 - fly ships that cost a significant percentage of your total isk
5 - fly without understanding transversal
6 - fly without understanding falloff
7 - fight without understanding sec levels and concord
8 - fit smartbombs in high sec
9 - do rainbow damage
10 - fit multi-tank

Things NOT to do in Eve.
1. Firing at a station to test a weapon.
2. Shield tanking and armor tanking a ship at the same time.
3. Engaging a mothership with a revelation full of cargo expanders.
4. afk traveling with bilions in cargo while browsing on the web.
5. Tel Evil Thug he's a n00b.
6. Inviting random guys in gangs.
7. Smacking or firing on a Dev (Yulai incident)
8. Put bilions worth of modules on your mission-running ship.
9. ****ing off russians in general, and Nync espescially.
10. Staying within dock range of a station with a mothership.

- play with very expensive ship on very poor computer
- arrive at destination sans cargo
- Forget to set contract as private
- invest in mech. eng. datacores just before the price plummets

That is what is the most fun!
I got a Sentinel that cost around 30 million, I got a total of 800k in my wallet, would sure as hell suck to loose it, but it makes every engagement a edge-of-the-seat experience.
