Yesterday I tested taking a few complexes and got a system to vulnerable, getting a few percent standing boost off each one.
I went to kill the control bunker and about 10 other people came to help out. A carrier, a marauder, several battleships, and a few other ships cruisers to command ships were all shooting it and it took about an hour all told from the first shot to the system being taken. Granted, a good chunk of this was travel time and we only had the full force shooting it for about 15 minutes, but it was effort equal to or greater than a normal complex.
The system switched and I went to check standings. No boost at all, aside from the complexes earlier. On top of that, the central bunker also means no tags, no (admittedly laughable) FW mission rewards, nothing really.
Add in the fact that you don't really seem to get too much for owning a system anyway (except the penalty that you can no longer do complexes there unless it gets contested), and it seems a little bit lame. It'd be nice to if nothing else get standing boost equal to taking an unrestricted complex, since it's pretty much comparable to one of those in terms of time and pvp risk.

Ever since EA hit Sisi, I was asking what the point behind it all was. It's literally just to get your militia to "hold" the system. It's why I'm not going to sign up once it hits TQ. Now if it was a comparable income to my level 4 mission running or 0.0 space, then I'd move into FW in a heart beat.

Im signing up simply for the pvp.
To me the best feature is free, objective based warfare, only you supply the ships.
Its enough to get me to participate. My views and opinions are my own.

tbh, if you spend ages taking a region in 0.0 you get so much for it... moons, plexes, rats... and many other things. thats the rewards for epic lag and drained pilots sitting for hours taking one pos after another down.
to get no reward for taking a system? |

Developers has stated that they are working on a rank based reward system. We players are just so quick to exploit gaps in their designs that it has to be thought through. I expect they will be doing something with pricing in the militia LP stores.
I have done nothing but roam around capturing/defending sites and systems since SiSi started. I reached Divine Commodore (top dog) in little over a week. I expect this time to be quadrupled on TQ due to competetion/baddies.
Bunkers are way too easy to kill at present if you ask me. A single gank fitted Armageddon nukes it in less than 20 minutes.
