Day 5:
Well today I didn't get much of a chance to play EVE but fortunately all the action started when I logged on. It seemed like Tama was busy and no sooner than I had loaded new ammo into my stabber there was an engagement.
Two falcons and two drakes had engaged one of our pilots on a gate. The rest of us showed up shortly after, I boomed towards a Falcon with -6 sec status but he managed to get a jam on me when he was deep into armor. Shortly after a drake bugged out the other died shortly afterwards. Unfortunately for the Falcon pilot I had been shooting at he died 20 minutes later in the system next door to a solo hurricane... ooopsy.
Then we had an antipirate blob so couldn't do anything but chill in stations and talk on vent. However whilst we were chatting on vent we had another fleet in highsec hunting down some war targets.
A dominix and a onyx had been reported in the area of Saisio presumably hunting down mission runners. The response fleet was with them in under 15 minutes a great job to say they were travelling in heavy ships. The Dominix and Onyx were engaged as they jumped through the gate into Jakanerva, the Dominix escaped with structure damage. The Onyx however was instantly locked down by our Rapier pilot and was stuck 15km off gate and jammed by a scorpion, his death followed shortly.
Once again a day with no reported losses so a happy day for the allaince topped off by another war target killmail. Things are beginning to escalate with more war target sightings and strong intel that their capital fleet is nearby ready to Jump into Onatoh.

i have heard of a great battle from pyrasanth domi V tempest, harbinger pyra coming out on top. Will try and get pyra to come and post some loving :). However not surge still wartargets going down :P YARR!

I have a feeling that your kb's are somewhat unaccurate.
Seeing as we've only had one encouter with your members, killed one and don't see it.. doesn't boast too well... Makes me wonder how many other killmails are "forgotten"

Yeah its really annoying. We've changed killboards in the last few days and were missing half our killmails. It is being worked on to restore them though so hopefully that will be sorted.
We're not only missing deaths. We're missing kills too.

Day 6:
Today was a very profitable day and there are lots of stories to tell so bear with me.
The day was a long one and started at 2:30 eve time with Pyrasanth having a battle against two war targets. The engagement was on the Tama gate in Nourv Pyrasanth in his Dominix engaged a Harbinger and Tempest. The battle was by no means a short one but Pyra killed both of the targets alone on the gate first the Harbinger then the Tempest. Their only other choice was to jump into Tama into the 5 man Surge camp on the other side, the battle lasted roughly ten minutes a pity it wasn't frapsed.
We then killed the usual groups of guys in noob corps and ap battleships until the crap hit the fan. A roughly 20 man gang jumped us and in total we lost a Surge Hurricane and Abaddon; along with an allaince Abaddon, Manti and Dominix. Was a good fight we killed a Onerios, Thorax and Blackbird. We did however come out worse off fighting nanogangs on gate is not advisable when you have agro my Mael escaped with 31% structure. The killboards are a mess but take a look at this and this for a few more details to try and piece the jigsaw mess together. Trying to figure it out from the killboard is like doing a jigsaw with a box of cornflakes so unless you have a lot of patience don't even try.
Then comes my second stroke of good luck after my near death experience in my Maelstrom. Cpt Branko had found someone unanchoring a large POS he warped in popped, the guy then we spend the next hour and a half scooping all the pos modules and the tower. We then later sell the guy his pos back for 800mil, splitting that three ways was fairly sweet. Here was his comment:

Whilst the tower was being scooped my third stroke of good luck came about. Pyrasanth had tackled a Rattlesnake outside of Tama station outside docking range. Mendes undocked his Mael now fully repped (15mil rep cost  ) and began to pound on the Rattlesnake. I have to admit he tanked the Hurricane, Mael and Mega very well. We attempted to ransom the guy for 700mil he didn't approve so we disposed of his ship which at first I thought was full of T2 crap. Then I discovered that there were 2 Dread Invulns and a Dread BCU in there and I hurried back to the station.
400mil in a day for almost nothing, but Tanis wins today and yes they are BPO's!
Looking forward to another day at war. Oh and we just missed an Itty war target because we had agro on gate as he jumped through

It was a very nice day all in all. The POS extraction took a good hour and a half, but it was well worth it, and thanks for the cooperation of our victim we were able to sell it right away at a small discount (well, we shaved 100-200M off the price) without even having to haul it to high-sec ;)
I found the POS looking for a hauler in local, after finding its at a POS, scans told me forcefield was down so I proceeded to pop him (and try to ransom the pod). After realizing that I'm literally sitting on a billion ISK worth of floating assets in space up for grabs, I podded him in hopes he wouldn't realise that we're actually stealing the POS until it was too late. After calling for haulers, Mendes was the first to react , and Seth got invited as well to provide a dose of extra security. A few of their ships did warp in later, but they got promptly fried, and after a hour and a half of tedious (and paranoid) hauling and guarding, everything - the tower, the lab, silos, harvesting arrays, fuel, even the guns were safely in our station, and we could start negotiating.
Props to the POS owner for being very reasonable about it, and the "I'm playing sim city, you're playing doom." comment was priceless
The 266M each we got will help Mendes suicide a few more Huggins, I hear he lost his gatecamping one in Tama a bit later, but they got a extremely expensive Absolution kill and so on, so I guess it'll cover a good part of their losses. I expect he'll write about it tommorow

Day 7:
So the end of our first week at war and what did it bring? No war targets! Yep not a sausage, so what did we do today, business as usual I guess. We started the day with Pyra finding a Sac in a belt I took the gate camping huginn to web his ass (first mistake). So I land in belt and there is a Myrm and Harbinger too as we expected, we pop the Sac in a few seconds then move onto the Harbinger. This was with only a Huginn and Cyclone in belt at the time apparently my 300 dps tank wasn't enough and I was dead by the time more of our guys arrived. Pyrasanths Cyclone had died seconds earlier and JackBear seconds after in his Hurricane. Then the slow part of our blob arrived and we killed the Harbinger so moral of the story is unless you want to take heavy losses move as a group not like people in a supermaket who go all over the fekin place just to end up at the till.
We then redeemed ourselves fortunately finding a three man commandship gang of Sleipnir, Astarte and Absolution. The Astarte went down first followed by what we calculate as a roughly 600mil isk Abso. Was a great fight General got out with structure damage but no real damage done still an awesome fight and loot to keep us in shiny ships for a few days.
The loot was needed as we apparently got pwned later that night here is the rampage report.
So a great day of fighting and it finishes with the end of Merchants of Mischiefs war and the start of Royal Hiigran Navy's. They are a 180 man merc corp but only have 50% efficiency we are fairly optimistic and as long as the fight is kept in highsec there should be some good kills. Depending on whether they bring their capitals we could get some good lowsec kills too which is what I am hoping for.
Only tommorrow can tell, so I finish this post with what happens when you are drunk and tackle a raven on a gate in a stabber.
Step 1 tackle stabber
Step 2 warp off (to a gate oopsy)
Step 3 Try to jump (fek I can't agro)
Step 4 Warp off to another gate (oooh **** 50% structure)
Step 5 Jump through gate (pray I will live)
Step 6 Guns rid me of my remaining 50% structure. Dead stabber. 
All I have to say in my defence is atleast unlike when Branko is drunk I don't fly and lose battleships.

Day 8:
Well today has been quite so I will keep it short. Royal Hiigaran Navy wardec started and the Merchants of Mischief obviously forgot to pay the bill so re-dec'd us today. We had our first engagement against RHN today baiting them into attacking a raven outside station then dropping another 5 bs a bc and frig on top of him to kill him before he could deagress. His friends in the Basilisk who tried to save him couldn't but they managed to get away.
RHN are frequently bringing guys to us fight us, we will continue as we intended picking fights on our grounds and doing other piracy work along the way. We killed another freighter today which was carrying a Navy Mega and a shuttle, but yeah you guessing it only the shuttle dropped. We haven't had any losses yet but at some point after enough engagements they are bound to happen.
Lots of kills on the board today take a look we had a sucessful camp for a hour or so killing a bs, three bc's and a hictor along with the usual frigate, haulers and general crap.
Looking forward to another weekend at war with plenty of engagements and hopefully a lot of kills.

Merchants of Mischief wardecced us again (they probably forgot to pay the fee), so now we have two wars going on at the same time.

Yeah my corp mate and i were like wtf. I like said 5secs before there were 10 of you in Tama. I undocked and saw him attacking your mates raven... i just sighed and stay to watch him get blobbed.

Day 9:
Well todays entry in the war diary unfortunately has to come late as the forums will not let me post. Today was a relatively quiet one with a few engagements against war targets and a camp that lasted a good few hours.
The morning started with two NightÆs Dawn members killing a logistics ship in Jita. He was popped and podded by the time he realised he had undocked most likely. Still this is a nice kill by a couple of our newer members who I would like to congratulate.
Surge did the usual camping and got several nice kills. A "Noob Fight Club" gang passed through (yes that is their corp name) who only left with two of their members: a Falcon and a cane who escaped in structure. The other two, a vexor and Cerberus, werenÆt so lucky and met their death. Soon after another two guys appeared: a Rook and a Brutix. They both died painful horrible deaths. The two Absolutions we had almost instapopped the rook. The camp ended with a close call against a Dominix with my Hurricane escaping escaping with 10% armor before he died so that I was able to warp out.
We then played with the war targets for a while making an interceptor dodge 3 Rapiers between two gates. He eventually got away but we have more plans for him next time he comes to play. We almost caught a couple of guys who fell for a bait bestower too they decloaked their Stealth Bombers to find they had sprung a trap. Shortly after 2 rapiers and a vaga appeared they bugged out almost instantly. We unfortunately lost a guy to a war target a bit earlier... our rapier died to a ballsy Taranis pilot. I can safely say it would have been a different story if the Rapier had interceptors on his overview... why he didnÆt the lord only knows.
So all in all a relatively profitable day with 1 war target kill thanks to lag and a loss thanks to an overview problem, maybe we should add CCP on as the final blow for both of them.
