Karma works in mysterious ways my friend. Mysterious ways indeed and it is neither for you or I to judge Karma, but to stand in judgement and reap praise when she decides our fickle fates at her disjointed leisure.
Be thankful her cold fingers have swept across you. Many would kill to be held in such high regard.

Mate, you need to hit your Mum up for the new BS or some therapy to compensate. Mums, eh ? Who'd let them near an unattended Eve client ?

Originally by: Ayumi Sang Yeah I gues I just wasn't thinking when I undocked my Raven. Its funny how a setup that has over 80k effective hp manages to die because of 26k damage. Someone must have sabotaged my shields when before I undocked.
1. EFT "effective HP" have nothing to do with killmail listed damage taken. Killmail damage taken is *actual* amount of damage taken, after resists have been reducing it. 2. When undocking, all your modules are online, but off. You have to manually turn them on. I doubt "your mom" did that. And besides, the listed damage taken (on the killmail) would have probably been almost identical, just a little bit higher (see point 1) due to some small degree of passive shield recharge and/or any shield boosters active... it would have happened a couple of seconds later, but you would have probably died anyway.

It DOES hurt to try because useless petitons like this is why the petition queue gets so long and why other people loosing thier stuff to legitimate bugs and problems have to wait weeks for an answer. You're wasting players time and you're wasting GM's time.
Sorry no 'lol gg!' from here

Tip to the op: when getting up from your PC press <windows key> + <L> to lock your workstation. That way nobody can mess with your computer while you're not around.
I always do this at work (have to do it due to security crap) so I also always do it at home. Thats the easiest way to protect from these "unwanted manipulations".
Also I don't think you'll get your ship back... I doubt mothers are covered in the EULA.

I can see that happening, the big black yellow Chevron for undock looks uncanningly like an exit button. Couple of years ago when I first started and had a stack of short skills, my wife decided to do me a favour while I was at work by looging in and changing skill for me. When she finished she hit the undock to close the program only to find the ship in space. She spent the next 30 mins flying the ship at the station from every angle trying to get it to go back in. Eventually she posted very meekly in corp chat "How do i dock". Probably a good thing i didnt have a Nyx back then otherwise she could have started the Faction war 2 years early.

Oof, painful.
Well, at least you have something to work towards now! It does suck though.
This is one of the reasons my PC is exclusively MINE.

Oh. I'm sorry... was I supposed to expect sarcasm instead of inanity from somebody who flat out admited petitioning one loss he knew CCP had absolutely nothing to do with ? My mistake, I guess

LOL at OP, its your fault for not being at the keyboard, CCP will be passing this around having a laugh at your expense and saying your mom pwnz u.
Seriously, posting your loss gives us all a laugh and i hope you can see the humour in it and start to laugh at it yourself. You will not get your ship replaced, you should be ashamed of your self for asking as it was your fault and in no way can CCP be held responsible, now grow some balls and get over it.
BTW, they could just ban you for allowing others to access you account, ever think of that!

This is pretty funny. What I want to hear about is the conversation between you and your mom after the fact.
Your petition is probably toast though, tough break. ___________________________________________
