In 3 total hours of gameplay, I managed to own a guy SO BAD I took him to zero assets and money, I feel very bad for him, but oh well, eve is a harsh game.
I'm covering my main's name because I don't want to get involved in moral jihads :P.
This is how I did it:
I controlled both my main and Jorah Vulture. Jorah was working as a ship scanner alt, and I used it to scan Ian Abyss, a lonely, calm miner in abubdan.
He was in a retriever. I took my main in and flipped his can. He agressed me and I popped his ret, in my punisher.
Minutes later, he came back in a drake. I warped main out and he thought Jorah was a threat, so he shot at jorah, getting concorded in his rigged drake.
I came back in an arbitrator with the main, just to wait for him to come back and pop his next ship. He came back in an expanded Badger II, and a corpie of him came in a rigged Harbinger of death.
I engaged the harbinger, who agressed me, and managed to pull him to structure. In the middle of the fight, the badger picked a can, getting an aggro timer too, so I sent my drones to him and killed his badger.
I start to ransom the harbinger, and then it randomly WTF EJECTS!! I quickly board it and get it to the station... A free rigged harbi!! 100m profit ftw. I lost my arbitrator in the process but I don't ******* care.
Shortly after I get an apology message to JORAH from the retriever+badger guy:
"I am sorry i fired on you though you werer wit that **** head that has cost me my barge and hauler :("
I ignore it and watch as he comes back in a caracal.
I warp my main in with a punisher and pop his caracal. boom.
He goes mad and starts telling my alt how bad and dangerous that evil pirate is, as if I was his best friend. So I decide to finish the day with the most brutal, witty and evil stunt I've ever made.
I talk to him from Jorah Vulture, pretending to care, feeling sorry for his losses and offering free intel so he can take his cans back safely.
I tell him to take his own cans first, so he doesn't get an agression timer. He does, and shortly after, when he's docked, I ask him how much money he has. He tells me he's got 6 million, and I come up with the most evil idea I've ever had.
Here is the conversation: Have fun:
THE MOST EVIL THING EVER
Jorah Vulture > dont get the third one yet Jorah Vulture > the guy is in abubdan again :S Jorah Vulture > hes on and off there
This is plain false, I'm lying and he doesn't even notice.
Ian Abyss > no i wont i am refining Jorah Vulture > do you still have ore in the belt? yes right? Ian Abyss > yeah most of those cans are the ones he jacxked form me Jorah Vulture > ok Jorah Vulture > I discovered a trick Ian Abyss > i still dont know i he switched em so fast Jorah Vulture > did you now that expanded cargoholds are bugged? Jorah Vulture > get them in your cargo and they will work too Ian Abyss > no i didnt Jorah Vulture > it doesnt show in the normal cargo space Jorah Vulture > but if you have for exmaple 1 cargohold expander II in your CARGO Ian Abyss > hmm how you mean Jorah Vulture > you have more capacity Ian Abyss > yeah i have three of em fitted and 2 more i can get Jorah Vulture > good Jorah Vulture > get those two Jorah Vulture > into your cargo Jorah Vulture > but dont come to the belt yet... making sure he isn't here Jorah Vulture > so you have three expanded cargos fit Jorah Vulture > and 2 in your cargo right? Ian Abyss > ok put the expandrrs in my hold right? Jorah Vulture > yes Ian Abyss > yeah and three fitted Jorah Vulture > the more you can buy the better Jorah Vulture > can you buy a couple more? that will do for both cans Jorah Vulture > and you can resell them later Ian Abyss > still say i only have 12513 m3 room Jorah Vulture > yes Jorah Vulture > you'll see :) Ian Abyss > let me see i can probably jump back to rens and get some Jorah Vulture > good

Jorah Vulture > do that Ian Abyss > how many you thinnk? Jorah Vulture > hmm Jorah Vulture > can you afford 4 more? Jorah Vulture > that's perfect for two cans Ian Abyss > yeah i just bought 5
Omg
Ian Abyss > <br>got to shoot to rens and get em though Jorah Vulture > okay do that Ian Abyss > i need to unpack em though right? Jorah Vulture > yes Jorah Vulture > they need to be separate Ian Abyss > ok Ian Abyss > i appreciate the tip :D Jorah Vulture > well Jorah Vulture > now come to abudban Ian Abyss > ok one sec got to get to station Ian Abyss > this thing is slow Jorah Vulture > I know ^^ Ian Abyss > ok leavuing station i got 7 in the cargo hold and unpoacked Jorah Vulture > dont come to the belt yet Jorah Vulture > good Jorah Vulture > just jump to abubdan Jorah Vulture > tell me when you're done Jorah Vulture > I need fast intel for this operation Ian Abyss > ok Jorah Vulture > we never know if his corp mates or him are back Ian Abyss > i have a bookmark set to the cans but usuually about 2000 meters out Ian Abyss > ok im in abudban let me know Jorah Vulture > good, intelligent play Jorah Vulture > okay Jorah Vulture > warp to that bookmark Jorah Vulture > pick the cans Jorah Vulture > and stop dead Jorah Vulture > or pick one at least Ian Abyss > coming Jorah Vulture > its worse to warp out because he might be waiting at the station Jorah Vulture > so warp in the belt, pick one can Jorah Vulture > and stay there okay?
While I'm saying this, I'm flipping my mains' cans myself with my rifter, so I agress myself, therefore he won't notice me red, and if he picks the cans, he will agress Jorah instead of the other character. Main was logged off since the start of this conversation btw.
Ian Abyss > ok Ian Abyss > agression is off Jorah Vulture > omw there Jorah Vulture > just to cover your back Jorah Vulture > altough It seems it's safe Ian Abyss > within range of 2 cans Jorah Vulture > I was checking station Jorah Vulture > pick one Jorah Vulture > fast
He picks the can. He is red. I target. I shoot. His shields start to go down
Jorah Vulture > Good night :) Jorah Vulture > I am Jorah Vulture > the same guy that killed you before Jorah Vulture > the expanded cargoholds trick is false Ian Abyss > figures Jorah Vulture > its just to get more money from you Jorah Vulture > you have to learn a lesson: Jorah Vulture > NEVER Jorah Vulture > trust anyone Jorah Vulture > in eve online Ian Abyss > how much for you not to blow me up Jorah Vulture > harsh game Jorah Vulture > sorry, too late to put guns off Jorah Vulture > and dont mine, it sucks and its not profitable Ian Abyss > for you maybe Jorah Vulture > its not profitable from the very momeny a pirate can kill all your ships :)
End. This guy had a drake, a caracal, and three badgers, apart from 15 millions he used to re-fit all the ships in the process.
At the end of my "operation", he had nothing. NOTHING.
I'm evil, ain't I?
In fact I'm feeling bad for him. He didn't deserve it, he didn't hurt anyone. However, he was a 2005 while I'm a 2 month newbie... He had to expect it. Eve is a harsh game, where these things happen. They can happen to you, and me.
PVP, it's only PVP. And remember it's just a game.
His losses paid my next 20 ships, it was not only a matter of pride but also of money-making. For those of you interested, I got four named cruise missile launchers, a full rigged harb, eight cargo expanders II, some strip miners, some tractor beams, and I lost one t1-fit arbie.
Good balance :)

Killing larger ships with smaller ships is still one of the best feelings in EVE for me (I'm sure it sucks for the guy who assumes his bigger ship is more powerful though).
As to whether or not you're evil - wow, what a **** lol

True sorry. Lot's of epeen waving here. But I've been 2 months lurking around 0.0 for ****ty unequal fights, and this afternoon has been a blast.
Apologies to everybody for getting too egocentric about it. It's the best time a PVP operation goes right for me in eve.

I must say. This is a complete and utter fail post.
The thing I get from the op is a total sense that his whole time spent in eve has led to this moment, his "oh my gawh Omy Gawwd epeen post in C&P", you seriously must have had something tragic happen to you in game (or life) to sound so righteous in your lament about eve being such a dark and ebil place, dont trust anyone.... IT was a good scam until your lecture at the end, your so ebil. Ooooh.

I was waiting for the first flame, it took long to come :P
Feel free to deduct anything you want from my post. You're right about the epeen thing, but ropeplay is not always about being a good guy, sometimes it's the opposite.
What's wrong in telling him not to trust anyone? You'd be surprised how many "in game best friends" betray their corp mates.
I trust people who prove to be trustworthy and they can trust me too. My statement was more like "Don't trust a complete stranger in eve online." Everyone will agree it's an itelligent thing to do.
Think of chess. This guy put his queen in front of my tower. As these forums are for discussing crimes, I posted it for my friends and for the laughs. I sincerely doubt you, Mr Freud, can get to know anything about my RL motivations/psychology from this post, and it's incredibly stupid to think so.
You're the one who is taking the game seriously.

Well, that part of the conversation is a bit ****** up, I was trying to say "Don't do JETCAN mining, it sucks and it's not profitable, becaaaause you get killed". I was laughing IRL so I didn't pay much attention to what I wrote :P

He cares about his ships btw, I omitted a big part of the conversation with my alt where he was ranting about how that evil pirate had killed all he had, and how he was a ****head etc.
In the other hand, I don't care about mine much :P I've been suiciding ships in amamake for two months, I lost like three times more ships than I kill, and I have a lot of fun.

I made this post knowing it was egocentric, barely ethic and bad written (rushed through it and I'm not native english), and also knowing I was going to be flamed, so I expected it.

My life would be really sad if I had to invent all this stuff.
Even more sad if I did it for the masochistic pleasure of being flamed :P.
If I had killed a dreadnought in my frigate I wouldn't post it. I posted this real story (I hope you're not so childish to make me give killmails as a proof) to see how people reacts, because it's polemic. I wanted to know how important are ethics for EVE players and to what point can a "evil deed" be taken seriously in this game.
90% take it easy and enjoy the read, maybe criticise me because I'm an egocentric bastard, (I accept that) but then move along and have fun, playing videogames, football or whatever the hell they do.
