JQA = spotty teenage brats playing mafia hardmen from the safety of their bedrooms.
One of these ****s threatened us, we decided not to kill him and left the system. His mates attacked us on the other side of the jump anyway.

They are an alliance and claim space, don't mix them up with Mafia methods. Think of them more like a country
OK they're not exactly LIKE the mafia, but they try to act the hard man when is pretty obvious they're spotty, lanky teens trying to act tough... and getting laughed at.
I somehow fail to quake in my boots at the JQA. I mine in "their" space all the time

erm, I know a few of em, and I know em in real life also and trust me, theres some who are 30+ and very very educated.....
I hate it when ppl get labelled like this, lets stick to the game and leave the insults to the characters they're trying to portray, race, age, physical appearance and all that have nothing to do with anything..... are you an oil painting? i dont care, no one else does so lets leave it at that shall we!
I'm sorry but I had a convo with one of these JQA ****s (the guy who caused us to be attacked unprovoked by the way) and my impression was of a jumped-up teenie with a crush on power cos he has nothing like that in real life.
And that's been my impression of all JQA members since.
I mine in "their" territory with impunity!
And there's f*** all these little power-hungry geeky nobodies can do about it!

Well I rather hate it when nobodies claim vast tracts of space as "theirs". Especially when they have no claim to them. In fact I think that's the behaviour of a rather anti-democratic dictator!
Surely we are all lovers of freedom. Down with dictators! Up with ore mining for all! Free ale! Free wenches! Kill spotty teenies in BS's!

Originally by: Beringe I personally think you should take your crusade for freedom elsewhere. It's not as if we're aggressively expanding, or even blocking of large tracts of space (as many people have pointed out, Syndicate has no lack of good ore, and we could never ever claim the region).
All we do is protect each other and the ore fields we mine. And we do this quite democratically, in fact.
I'm sorry if you got the wrong impression of us, or if you were insulted. We're not bad people. Honestly.
Well you're claiming vast tracts of space as if they were your own. Did you buy them?
Yes you seem to act like you're not bad people. But fact is you'll shoot at anyone who doesn't leave "your" space within 5 min. In short lowlife tennie wannabe mobsters, and rather **** ones at that cos I've been merrily mining away in the space you like to think you own.
I haven't got the slightest shred of respect for JQA. Live with it

Am I a member of NORAD? News to me. I don't know hardly anything about NORAD but I hope they're classier than JQA

Originally by: Gyrn Fzirth No, the only reason I'm lending my support is because they treated me well when I _was_ there. They even thanked me for doing what I was doing, which is rare. I dunno how many indies full of what sorts of good ore have passed me by with nary an isk, unit of arkanor or word in thanks for trying to keep the area rat-free. They were friendly and helpful - giving me intel on where the rats were etc.
So take it for what it is - an honest pilot's view of an honest group of people trying to protect themselves from those that would do them harm.
They attacked us with about 10 battleships despite the fact that we didn't touch one precious gram of their ore, on that occassion. I was so bemused that I decided to make it my mission to mine in "their" space with impunity LOL. Perhaps if they hadn't acted so pointlessly aggressively I might have a different opinion of them... perhaps.
As for keeping the area rat-free, that's hardly a service to others since they also *try* to keep the area others-free.
Oh I was mining in "their" space again today.

Do you even know what space we claim?
Sheesh.
Yes
I know exactly what space you "claim".
Seeing as someone published a link to your chart of "claimed" systems on this very thread here.
Do try to keep up.
