They have a little moon/pos operation out in Fountain. No stations out there, unless that changed recently.
Every time I ever went back in "their" space looking for trouble, I found a bunch of completely empty systems.

Sons of Tangra are the Third Bulgarian Empire.  They are mostly Bulgarian, with one corp consisting of Serbians and some native English speakers [Kumovi]. The main driving force is the corp BULG, which was part of The OSS, split to form iYi in a glorious coup d'etat. BULG have a history with the Black Omega Demolition Experts :D

This topic was brought to my attention by my fellow carebears and thus put me out of my posting slumber.
For all those that seem interested, and those that just post random stuff (although this forum doesnt rly count the number of your posts... so kinda pointless) i like to give you some brief info that i hope will somewhat satisfy your need for information:
1. We generally dont post on EVE-O (me included) for several reasons like:
a - we find it kinda meaningless to spend a lot ot time on the forums as well as ingame, most of us still have a life
b - with like 90% bulgarian composition, and the skill english rarely trained above LV 1 ... you get the idea... older folks know russian in these parts, not english.. also we are RA fanboys
2. Our name sounds stupid only to ignorant ppl, randomly posting on an internet spaceship related forum. In reality this is the name of the ancient bulgarian SUN god Tangra, back in the time where the bulgarians where a horse riding, hairy and angry nomadic tribe, burning and pillaging stuff on their way. Thats the short version. Google is your friend
3. We like to fight and we respect the people that want to fight. If we didnt, we would be grinding missions in Motsu (although i dont hide the fact that some ppl still do that).
4. We hate capital and supercapital blobs, as we honestly believe they have taken a lot of the fun out of this game. Hence we are constantly trying to seek out and destroy individual capitals and put them out of their misery, bringing the fun back to EVE :)
5. Also about the PL thing - a great deal of us were once in Black Omega, but we left cause they are generally bad ppl:) And we were shooting BRUCE when they invaded Syndicate back in the day, so whats wrong with shooting them again:)
6. On totally unrelated note, I am available for individual questions, interviews and spy information. Prices on each of those are on a need to know basis, competition is strong in the segment after all...
That is all pilots. Report to your stations for nanofag briefing.

That, I did know. I just never saw one SoT pilot in the 6 months or so we were in Fountain, until PL showed up and started roaming. After that, I saw a few here and there. It was like, "Hey, it's a lynching... lets go!"
Not to say I don't like any of you guys; I don't know any of you. For all I know, you're the best bunch of people on the entire planet. I just don't think mad props should be given for you desperately holding on to your little corner of Fountain when nobody else has ever come for it.
I think Fountain is going to be an interesting place in the near future... just making sure it's interesting for everybody

So thats means that Warhamar 40k steals ancient Protobulgarian sacred symbol. This symbol was founded during archeological work in one of ancient bulgarian capitals. You can see it here: http://www.protobulgarians.com/Statii%20za%20prabaalgarite/Rosette%20of%20Pliska.htm. (Fig.2 and Fig.3)
Its on bulgarian, but still you can see the figures. So our alliance icon is just the back side of this rosette.
IYI - this is probably what scientist say - a representation of the 7 ancient skygods. That's why the rosette have 7 ray's, eachone is a symbol of one skygod.
So definately this icon is far more old (2000+years) then Warhamer 40 :).

the warhammer 40k Chaos Symbol was stolen from Michael Moorcock who created it back in the 50's and used frequently in his works. It's an 8 pointed star, 8 arrows radiating out from the center, and represents chaos.
here is an image of the 40k chaos symbol, they've added a circle to the star whereas moorcocks chaos symbol has no circle:

In a more serious tone:
As others said, back in the day we lived in Syndicate and were part of OSS. We fought BRUCE there for quite a while, but eventually they manage to amass enough hundreds of pilots to completely blob the whole region and after the "capital show" that they did one night, jumping ~20-25 capitals in the "main Syndicate system", OSS capitulated. We then had no choice but to retreat... the problem was that we had no where to go, mainly because we didn't want to live close to any of the major forces - we wanted to keep as much autonomy as possible. Our limited numbers were a problem as well.
We saw Fountain as an interesting opportunity and forced by the rest we just moved in. At the time it was mainly occupated by the Hungarian guys of HUN. We had to fight there, without any support from anyone, but in anyway it was our only option. At some point Kumovi joined us and later on V.L.A.S.T as well(i believe it was after the HUNs left, but maybe i am wrong).
Eventually, some months later, we pushed the HUNs out and effectively claimed the region, or atleast the southern part of it.
So as you can see, the region was not just "given" to us, we fought it out of other people's hands.
I have been off EVE the last 1-2 months because of IRL stuff, so i missed the last war with BRUCE, but i know BRUCE and i find it ridiculous that people are going "SoT couldn't do it alone, blah blah". Dispatching BRUCE is no easy task, their sheer numbers and economical power(when you have hundreds of pilots ratting and missioning 24/7 in secure regions you must be stuffed with cash) are times larger than ours.
Also, we have been friends with PL since... forever. So there was no "NAPwagon jumping".
Otherwise, we do love to fight, everyone that has actually fought us can confirm it. We don't stay docked, unless we are blobbed to hell - we love to fight but we are not that stupid to jump into a sure-death-situation. Only Vlada does that :D (hail Vlada o7 )

Let me check few things.
When sot start fighting there it was us Becks and bulg, all other corps in sot came after the initial figthing for fountaine was way over the coming of morhus mihi mostly harmless ect,make our fight with hun more easier and the black ops goons help a lot too when we defended our first towers in fountaine.After failure of the attack in delve and returning of the north people to there homes it was vacuum in fountaine with bruce claiming the biggest part,then Pl came and Sot joined them reseting all of fountaine,it is boring to see blues figthing blues. Then some inner problems,caused sot to lose it second largest corp Becks and the initial first corp to join them in the moment they created sot.That way they lost 20 active people and the second largest cap fleet within alliance with dozens of capitals.But it is infernal matter. So now sot with pl and cruel intentions control fountaine and that is. We have our fun at other place.
Also fedman you missed all the fights and claiming you were in all the fights and struggles make me laugh.

A little clarification on Sons of tangra and BRUCE. Many of Sons of Tangra were formerly members of The OSS in Syndicate. When BRUCe went after The OSS's territory to drive them out after repeated NAP violations, the former OSS members in Sons of Tangra split off from The OSS after BRUCE succeeded in taking over the area.
Once BRUCE moved to Fountain, Sons of Tangra approached BRUCE for a NAP. It went through. Sons of tangra and BRUCE enjoyed a friendship until the goons sent in PL and their black ops squad. Once BRUCE started to fall apart, Sons of Tangra, under a NAP, attacked BRUCE while still blue. Now Sons of Tangra pay PL to stay in Fountain. Hence why they aren't attacked.

Wrong, it was after BULG and friends (that later became Sons of Tangra) left for Fountain that BRUCE finally managed to gain control over The Syndicate, not before.

Wrong again, SoT was already in Fountain when BRUCE decided to move there as well. We didn't mind since at that time they were friendly.

Anyway, the story goes: PL came to Fountain and a pact was formed between PL and SoT (after some careful consideration I might add) to fight for control over a large part of the region, which was then BRUCE's territory. Soon BRUCE fell apart and others tried to fill the (nonexisting) void. Everybody seems to have appetites for the region, everybody says "yeah, we may go there and claim it if we wanted", some even did (come). And yet, still, here we are... waiting.

Yeah i think Becks were one of the last to leave OSS. My corp was one of the last to leave. After bruce came and burned down our POS in CY. Although it cost them more then it did us:P. We had some smarty BS sitting cloaked at the POS guns and started smartying the fighters. This also happened at the station (good times)
Also OSS pretty much lost their main pvp forces ( BULG and KUMOVI) which gave bruce the chance to take over, which they did and it was pretty much OSS its stupidity not to see it coming. OSS was kinda busy fighting themselves 
During the NAP between OSS and BRUCE, BRUCE continued getting bigger as OSS was losing people. People were getting tired of the NAP.
And after PHD, Who fought along side with Oss against Bruce, disbanded, there werent really many pvpers left in the alliance. Most were carebears.
Was a fun time in Oss, fighting Bruce

Extra info: SOT consists of a core of RL friends in Bulgaria, who at one point threatened RL injury to poor Dwight. The "backstabbing" was SOT turning on Fountain Coalition, where there was shared support, intel, and even special forums. SOT were considered "friends".
Unconfirmed intel: SOT supports RA (Dwight confirmed in his post), but the good part is the "end game" where they and RA do Goons in. Could easily use PL to do that I'd think... anyway fun times ahead

I have no idea who you are and I have never heard of Digital Renegades, but I know for a fact that SOT is one of the best small/mid sized alliances in the game, togheter with XXDEATHXX and Evoke.
So drop the whole "they are a bunch of whiny****z" crap and stop talking about stuff you know nothing about.

f.y.i. - DR have been exposed on coad yesterday for being bob petz zomg and paying them for space, read coad and you will find out teh truth.
but yeah you fail and probably live in your mom's basement so i win.
