Jail? Not likely.
Lifetime ban from most football matches, deportation home and probably travel restrictions for a few years? = not worth any amount of ISK (unless you're an ubernerd).

Yeah but it's not real football, it's only soccer, it wouldn't be that hard to give up. Where is this match being held, anyway? Also, if security is too tight at the final, would a semifinal or quarterfinal match be acceptable for the 1Bn?

honestly i wouldnt be suprised if someone did this.... some people are addicted to games, met a guy a few days ago that says he plays this game like 12-16 hours a day, no joke.
but if someone does do it, please record it and put it on this thread, so i can laugh my ass off for an hour

Never ever EVER, call football only "soccer" (or even soccer) in Europe and other countries that practise this great sport.
If you do this in, let's say England (I'm Belgian myself), you won't like what you'll hear when saying this.

Have toa gree... and heres the 1 million argument that you can never counter, apart from the historic one where football was invented long before the US even existed.
It is not real football, when you carry the "ball" in your hands 99% of the time during a match.
