I agree, ironic is more fitting in my opinion; but cathartic works too if he was going for the 'It feels good blobbing them out of their homes after they blobbed to get the space they hold' angle.
But, who am I to give english lessons? It's quite obvious your grasp on the language is as firm as your alliance's grip on its space.

While many in Goons maybe just fighting Smash/Roadkill and Atlas just for pew pew, there are many of us fighting for personal reasons, that is why this fight will be very hard and to the finish. There are many in Goonswarm from different background and different connections of some form with Smash/Roadkill and Atlas that has taking on a personal tone to remove and elimination these alliances. So don't look for much letting up anytime soon.

Catharsis is also a sudden emotional climax that leads to an inner purification. Since you keep on raging about huge numbers used against you, I feel that "cathartic" is an appropriate word.
I can't believe I'm discussing about the meaning of ancient greek words on CAOD but yep, I'm doing it. Also oofig is a pretty good poster.

They couldnt take FIX space until Goons invaded Geminate and the only reason they took B-7 is because ATLAS pulled out and even then they waited a week or two to make sure most of ATLAS had left.
