Can you verify that your mic is working?

Edited by: tailboom3 on 09/06/2008 19:31:51 I just stared using vista this week with ts. and vista seems to always mute my mic. I use a plantronics usb headset and it has a manual button on the cord to mute the mic. when ever i boot vista this button is activated(turns red in my case) and i have to remember to un mute the mic before speaking on ts.
When you press your transmit button for ts, does your icon go green in ts? check your mic settings.

I have the exactly same problem. It seems that somehow EVE now snatches the key events so that TeamSpeak doesn't get them. |

I've tried the set up program for vista voice recognition and the mike seems to work fine, it's ts so far that doesn't like it

Edited by: Terinnon on 11/06/2008 18:01:53 For using Voice comms in Vista u need to set Microphone es default record unit...
u also need to start the "set up microphone" after this 2 steps everything is working...
after this u need to configure in TS to Microphone es recording device... its just a bit tricky but it works :) |

Make sure 'disable direct input' is not checked in Teamspeak. In addition in Vista, teamspeak might have to run with administrative rights, check that too. |
