Yoshitaka Moromuo Lai Dai Infinity Systems	Posted - 2008.06.10 20:03:00 - [4] While I do agree that there is some cause for rejoicing over the return of the ancestral home of the Civire and Deteis to the State, I must echo Captain Scarlet's words and feelings. Heth has reclaimed that world in a manner that will only further swell the animosity between the State and Federation. I do however lend credit to President Foritain, as he demonstrated sound judgment in calling for a cease-fire on his side. It may have been a unilateral cease-fire, but it does show that there is hope for reason. CONCORD and the DED may well step in to enforce their mandate to return to previous territorial borders, or they may withdrawl from the Federation and The State to make way for another war. Who knows for certain? The Next 24 hours may well reveal what the future has in store for the four Empires.

Had he not, then President Foritain may not have had the desire to give our Fleets the order to stand down. Even some Tyrants know the preverbial line in the sand of which they should not cross. If his ambition was to seize Caldari Prime, he accomplished it. Moving on to Gallente Prime would have most certainly given the Federation reason enough to renew a war which was ended perhaps too hastily those many years back.

You committed almost your entire battlefleet to our home system - the reason Heth called for a cease fire was because he knew that it was the only way he could hold Caldari Prime and maintain security in the Caldari State proper. Come what may, today the Caldari showed the galaxy that we are not only strong, but that we can restrain that strength. It was within our fleet's power to return upon Gallente prime the same crime that was committed upon us during the war, and yet we did not. I am not happy that we began this... but I can't deny that I too swelled with patriotic pride and sang when that flag was raised. I have always said that Caldari Prime is a cradle we should abandon. I have tried to tell people that a man with his feet glued to the ground cannot touch the sky. Now, I wonder if I was genuine in that belief, or whether I was saying that because I never believed we could have it back? I no longer know.

Caldari Prime was always the goal that seemed eternally out of reach. But the simple fact is, we are home. The earth from which our people rose, the water and plants that gave us life, the nature that struggled against us to make us stronger. It may be just a planet, of no great economic significance, but it is our planet. And no longer will it be under the heel of the Federation.

While the entire response seems to be capsuleers, with no Federation Navy to be seen, apparently many of them are part of a Federation sanctioned 'militia'. On the one hand I must admit that part of me is happy and overjoyed that Caldari Prime once more belongs to the Caldari people. It is something I never thought I would live to see, and it's something that my great grandfather would have loved. He fought in the last war, was infuriated that the whole mess had happened and yet was deeply saddened when Caldari Prime was lost. That it is now ours again would have made him a very happy man. On the other hand, the way that this has all come to pass has made me very upset. Tibus Heth is a xenophobic, hate-filled, warmongering, incompetent fool. How can a man so recently just an assembly line worker be elevated to a position of extreme power in so short a time after showing no aptitude for finance, business or anything else that makes a good CEO? He had to have had help, although from whom I couldn't say. Heth's hateful preaching and nonsensical policies have started an avalanche of cascading violence that we are now powerless to stop. A lot of people will die, and how many shouldn't have to? I...I don't like the Gallente very much. I never have, and I'm not sure I ever will. My reasons are my own and I'm not going to discuss them. A lot of it may be irrational, but it's there all the same. It's something I will have to deal with in my own way. However, mindless violence of the kind that Heth has advocated isn't going to solve anything. War does not determine who is right, only who is left. I for one cannot support a war of aggression that serves no real purpose other than to stroke Heth's overblown ego. But, in support of Captain Svetlana Scarlet's statement I will be in position and willing to defend Caldari sovereign territory from any aggression. After all, the Caldari State is still my home, and the Caldari are still my people. I can't and won't support Heth's spiteful violence, but neither can I in good conscience sit around and let Caldari lives be put in jeopardy because of it. I swore an oath to defend my people, and that is what I will do. Defend my people from all enemies. Foreign...and domestic. I reaffirm that oath in front of all of you. I will not turn my back on what little is left of the State I hold dear. To the Gallente Federation I say only this: I will not let my dislike of you stand in the way of doing what is right. If we are destined to meet on the field of battle, then so be it. I will endeavour to fight with honour and to the best of my ability in order to defend my people. I hope that you will do the same. However, I will not go looking for trouble within your own borders if I can help it. That is for Heth and his sycophantic cronies to do, so feel free to hurt them a bit. I wish you well, unless you attack our own territory, in which case I'm sure you won't mind if I just wish you dead instead. However, it is something that I believe the State needed. You see, for too long have we, the peoples of the Caldari State been divided by factionalism. It isn't hard to realize that the State needed to become a unified entity. It is this same factionalism that I am beginning to see once more. Either fight proudly for your Caldari State, or step out of the way, lest you get your hands a little dirty. As for the situation regarding Caldari Prime, too many of you Gallente responding to this Neocom are acting like it is some sort of trophy, a "symbol" of your "triumph" over the State. This is an intolerable way of thinking, to be quite honest. War has begun. The declarations are made. The invasions have commenced. Remember, peoples of the Republic and the Federation: I fight for the State, and I will fight proudly. Caldari Prime is just the beginning.

The death of the Ishukone CEO also mostly benefitted him, I'd not be too surprised if the group pulling Heth's strings arranged for that death too - after all, if they can put one xenophobe into power, why not maskerade another one up as peacelover and put it into a Nyx? Not just by the assault on civilian targets, not only by the threats to butcher the Gallente population of Caldari Prime... But by also parking a titan in orbit of a populated planet! Since the disaster at Goral, titans have had their navigation systems modified to stop them comming so close to a planet ever again. To park a titan in standard orbit of a planet has to be an intentional act, in contradiction to the navigation protocols aboard such vessels. Heth's orders have harmed untold numbers of Gallente civilians, and by having the titan parked in orbit, he has virtually assured an ecological catastrophie on Caldari Prime which will affect many Caldari. The titan must be removed as soon as possible, willfully or otherwise, to minimise the impact it will have on the world. I am certain that while seeing a titan in the heart of Gallente space, over the Caldari homeworld is inspiring to the State, having half of the land mass submerged under several feet of water and the local population pleading for assistance is less so.

It is obviously outside of gravitational field disruption, and is within range to protect both the planet and the station under construction. If you don't like the Titan there, perhaps we could move it over Gallente Prime and put a few dozen Phoenix-class Dreadnoughts over Caldari Prime. That would also keep the Federation fleet out of our hair, and keep the Leviathan away from Caldari Prime. Something to consider, yes?

I took prisoners a month ago and demanded the return of Caldari Prime to Caldari sovereignty. Since then, I have had to move them twice to avoid raids by Federation Marines. Today, I have released these prisoners, all of them unharmed. The goals of PFLCP have been met, so we now disband.

The Federation were at fault when they allowed their most celebrated admiral to pilot their naval flagship into a Caldari station killing hundreds of thousands of civilians. No amount of spin will change the fact that when this war does resume, the Gallente struck first blood. There is a difference between one man gone rogue, and an entire fleet under orders from the State's dictator. I personally believe that the actions of the admiral were an atrocity. Equally so to the Heth holding the Gallente populace on Caldari Prime hostage. One does not outweigh the other, neither should have happened. That would also keep the Federation fleet out of our hair, and keep the Leviathan away from Caldari Prime. Your Titan is only a flagship and a symbol and despite the ineffective efforts of the civilian populace it can be destroyed. Moving it to Gallente Prime would do well towards bringing the Federation Navy out from under its cease-fire orders. Making threats to bring further warships into Federation territory doesn't the matter. We will wait, and hold to our orders until such time as our President see's fit to issue new directives to the Fleet. After all, with Milita disputes already errupting across New Eden, this negotiated cease-fire between our Fleet's cant last forever.
