i might make this a regular thing since i know some of you pilots out there are cureious to what happening within factional warfare and since all you might hear about are "epic fleet battles" or what not you wont get the full picture of what the battlefield is looking like at the current time
if you would like more posts on this for the stats reply telling me so other wise i wont bother doing it and just go back for those extra 10 minutes and blow stuff up and if you do , do you want it in a new post each time or just have this post updated after all it is you viewing this information
these post will show hopefully pilots increases or decreases in militia's, kills victory points and systems in current control over periods of 24 hours so if you not part of the faction warfare but rooting for a team you can see if you need to encourage us or pity us :P
discalmier: in any of my posts i will be posting no types of intellegence that can be used on either side of the war. All these stats can be veiwed by all parties at any time through the militia neocom and the stats are correct at time of posting and the stats wont be biased even though i am a gallente militia solider and fighting you scummy caldarians
these are the stats for the first 24 hours of the fighting that has been happening in the last 24 hours
6359 pilots are in the "war" and are divided as such
Caldari = 2321 pilots (175 kills in 24 hours) <4174 victory point in 24 hours> [54 systems controlled]
Gallente = 1721 pilots (40 kills in 24 hours) <541 victory points in 24 hours> [47 systems controlled]
Minmatar = 1403 pilots (27 kills in 24 hours) <2086 victory points in 24 hours> [42 systems controlled]
Amarr = 913 pilots (29 kills in 24 hours) <1796 victory points in 24 hours> [28 systems controlled]

This is very good, I was thinking that I'd like to know which militias are bigger before I join one. It seems the Amarr need a few more good men! |

Where did you obtain this information? If there's an easy way to do so in-game I'd say no. If you do a bunch of work then I'd say yes.
No point in posting easily obtained information. |

Actually, you can access it from any station but only militia members can see it. This would be a useful addition to the Eve website... AHAHAHAHAH! OK, maybe in 2 years. |

This is information worth posting. In fact, I suggest that CCP add a "Faction Warfare Discussion" forum for OOC info on FW, and this post should become one of it's first two stickies (the other being a guide to FW, possibly Rhys Onasi's guide from the Game Development Forum). |

I vote yes for continued posting till a FW Forum is built by CCP.
I have a interest in knowing what factions killed whose factions ships.
For instance, of the 175 kills in 24 hrs the Caldari had...how many were of Gallente, Minmatar, and Amarr ships?
This sort of minutia trivia could open the door to more analysis by all the closet statiticians playing this game.

Great idea!
Quote: 6359 pilots are in the "war" and are divided as such

Amarr = 913 pilots (29 kills in 24 hours) <1796 victory points in 24 hours> [28 systems controlled]
Lol! Let's work that out per pilot:
Caldari:1.8vps/pilot Gallente:0.3vps/pilot Minmatar:1.5vps/pilot Amarr:2vps/pilot.
My conclusion:Amarrian pilots are the best, Caldari second-best. Gallente pilots are utter muppets.
..and to the OP - yes, it's good. It'd be worth CCP having a sticky somewhere with a territorial map along with this information - they ought to be able to generate it from data gathering. Until then, keep it up. |

Too bad there is no total isk value of kills, surely killing 5 frigs of 500k isk each is nowhere near killing 1 bil BS(haven't seen someone bringing any of those yet, at least fleet i was in got a careless nanofag with polies and stuff yesterday). |

The pilot ratios look very similar to what we saw while testing it on SiSi.
Caldari/Amarr about equal with Matari/Gallente with Caldari high numbers making up for low Amarr ditto.
Will be interesting to see what it looks like in a month or two when the numbers have evened out (read: when the novelty of it has worn off and people return to regular mission running). It seems that people are enjoying the casual combat so I sincerely hope CCP keeps the heat on and expands on it. Would love to hear from a pirate corp based in one of the contested FW regions and how they see the influx of combat ready ships :)

Think Gallente will be on the up, had no organisation day 1, unless there are alot of us suicidally assalting Jita we should get a more even figures from now on. Fighting in The Citadel seems to have been very much dominated by the Gallente gangs with Caldari sitting on the gates in high sec. Hopefully soon they will realise that passive tank drakes are not the solopwnmobiles they seem to think they are

we got 205 kills to 16 losses so far yesterday with a third of them being caracels and drakes probably, there are alot of faction and deadspace loot from caldari side could be all the roleplayers and mission runners joining. Keep it coming we need the iskes =D |

All I know is this: While cruising through 0.0 space last night (as I am wont to do), I was using the "ships destroyed in the last hour" map to locate possible gatecamps or ganksquads. To my surprise and joy, the brightest red dots weren't weren't deep in the recesses of lawless 0.0 space where some massive battle was raging between huge Alliances. Oh, no. It was in Kourmonen, where presumably the Amarr and Minmatar militias were dusting it up. An hour or so later it was somewhere in Gallente space.
That rocks. It's good to see stuff of consequence happening in Empire. |

Edited by: Eemaavi on 12/06/2008 15:29:36 There was quite a running dustup last night during US Time between the 24th IC and the TLF. I like to think we gave as good as we got, though we seemed outnumbered a bit. The TLF flew Lots of Thrashers and Cyclones and Rifters and other stuff. We had Omens, lots of T1 Amarr Friggies a Geddon and Ishtar and other Assorted T1 and T2 Cruisers.. Lots of trading shots at the Kourmonen gate Fun Stuff. Yeah I'm an Alt- Go cry elswhere |

yeah, that gallente system was the Tama system, warped there last nite, it was crazy though, i warp to the gate (not sure which high sec system i was coming from, i forgot) but i warp to this system and jump into Tama into a fleet of like 50 caldari ships (probably 8 or 9 bs's i guess the ones you could call "flagships" ) oi, but it was crazy, luckily escaped though in my incursus

That gate camp got tore up by FOOM and a Minmatar militia blob that arrived on the scene about 30 seconds after foom opened fire.
about 30 FOOM kills or so no losses ... was awesome. I don't know who else was there but it was kinda easy pickings for us. |

New update for ya, because I'm bored
Caldari Kills - 288 Pilots - 3353 victory pts - 11k
Gallente Kills - 801 Pilots - 2222 Victory pts - 7.2k
Ammar Kills - 254 Pilots - 1433 Victory pts - 5.7k
Minmatar Kills - 412 Pilots - 1911 Victory pts - 6.4k
Gallente taken the lead on kills, probably because from what I have seen Caldari think the Drake is the PVP solopwnmobile and filling Crow's mids with cap rechargers is common practice. |
